  1. Thought I would share this article published in Autocar & Motor magazine on the 25th May '94 which laments the withdrawal by Nissan of the UK spec 300ZX from our market. I've also included the classified page from the same magazine which has a number of entries for 300ZXs. These would have been for UK spec cars (the grey import scene hadn't taken off then) - made me smile!

  2. Hi today me and my mate removed subframe bushes from a na subframe also split the hubs from the alloy uprights . My question is will the tt alloy up rights bolt to the na hub carrier .i can't see any diffrence in the uprights . The reason being is the tt uprights I have have been polybushed .i know the tt ones will have a ball joint that will need moving where the hicas arm link to but that's no big deal . Anyone done this swap thanks Taff.

Well today is judgement day. Those who may remember on my goddies thread may remember that i had an adea and thought it should work. well its all together and will work but today is the first time all the bits are going together and going to see if it fits.or may require a little fettling here an there. But here it is.a ford 150maff mated to a twin intake breather sraght to a 3.5" single intake then through the maff and split to go onto my 2.5" ashspec pipework. I think it looks cool.

  18. Just wondering if anyone's ever done this? I'm aware of fitting proceedure and expense etc, but wondering if anyone's ever bought a brand new one? Mine has been making a squeek on hard braking for a while now, it doesn't affect braking, it's still pretty good considering I'm on stock brakes (only for another few weeks). I've had a spare sat in my garage for ages, but I just don't trust parts like this with diaphrams in them that are for a critical part of the vehicle. I also don't trust a lot of used parts anymore [period], as, lets face it, these cars are pretty old now. So, yeah, has anyone fitted a new brake servo/booster? Did it 'feel' any different? Di…

  19. Last year i upgraded my whole braking system on my 2001 Silvia S15 Spec-R. Up front i fitted K-Sport 8-Pot 330mm's, and at the rear i fitted the great Z32 Rear Brake conversion. To make use of the extra braking power, i upgraded the OEM master cylinder, to the Z32 BM57, which I got from a breakers yard. Now over the last few weeks, i have noticed a 'creaking' noise when pressing the brake pedal. only notice this when im at a standstill as thats when everything else is quiet i suppose. Here is a video (not my car) to show the exact same noise Now i haven't noticed anything untoward with the braking performance or feel, but i assume the no…
