Me again... Loads of problems throwing themselves up on the last home straight. Clutch is heavy but will go into gear with the engine off, engine on it's loose and won't go into gear. Do I need to bleed with the engine on?

I'd like to get one of these for the zed when I get the priority jobs sorted, has anyone fitted one? What kind of hub and quick release kit would you need? The wheel would probably be MOMO or Sparco for me. I think the MOMO Race looks cool - Z32 Zone pic earlier: Maybe with a Nismo horn button. Unless there's anything for an OEM wheel?

Started her up today ready to get her back on the road and she's hunting again, no split intercooler this time seems to be no vac leaks either. Conzult shows no error codes but on power balance test I have - 462 on rpm? Smells really bad too at the moment but no answer excess smoke? Something simple I hope? Thanks in advance. Here's it idling itself with no input from me.

If you were to buy a set of leather seats would you prefer them to be both electric for that grand tourer luxury. As most are in a manual passenger electric driver or both manual seats..?

Well I blew a fuse yesterday! Fogs, sides, instruments, so checked it out! 10 A 3rd in top row drivers side footwell! See these & sorry for quality of pics! Well, the difference between these fuses is that the one marked 10 Clearly seen on the fuse in white. That blown fuse was lit up! It had a chip in it so it was clear to be seen! Anyone know this?

Sun 10th May. My buddy Steve came over and spent an hour or so making some minor adjustments to the mapping as I drove up and down the A610 and also slowly on a local indust estate. Some improvement in the Z1 throttle bodies and linkage meant that tickover and light throttle settings on take off and crawling in (simulated) traffic needed adjustment. The main power settings are all fine from the original power map that Noel did. Tues 12 May. My carbon fibre bonnet had lots of horrible white patches where the coating had oxidised. I wet flatted it all over with 600 grade and hit it with two coats of 2K laquer. Its not perfect but it looks 100% better than it was…

Hi, can anyone help in letting me know where i can buy (or even a part number) a replacement hose/tube that coolant flows through behind the engine. Drawn an arrow to it in the picture below. Managed to get some tape around it for a quick fix to just move the car around. Thank you :D

Guys just trying to setup the "failsafe" part of my AEM gauges. I have taken a photo of the instructions that came with the gauge, see below. This is on a "normal closed) relay. The low side (ground output from the Widebands Failsafe can be used to turn ON a NC (normally closed) relay and interrupt the output signal from a boost controller to its boost solenoid (shown below.) NOTE be sure that pulling power from the boost controller will decrease boost down to the waste gate spring pressure rather than increase boost to the turbochargers max. This will depend on what type of waste gate is used and how it is plumbed with the vacuum hose. I then cam across the follow…

I know Noz is real good with this kinda stuff but I have a ecu chip which is soldered into the ecu with two wires... However it doesn't have a name on it and I feel this could be a cheap chip. also feeling that this could be the culprit of my bad idle (earlier called a misfire). Is it safe to test this by cutting these two wires to cut out the chip? Thankyou

Hi Noel, you mapped my zed a year or so ago when it was an auto, im having it converted to manual soon and wondered if it needs mapping again or if its safe to drive under the existing map. im guessing as its only a change of gear wether thats done by me or a computer souldnt matter but just checking in case? Also read a thread on here that you run without recircs or bov's, is this safe on stock turbos 17psi, as im considering this myself to eliminate goosehonk and i dont mind the pigeon flutter noise instead. ? Thanks Jon

Hi all, I have a number of parcels to send small and large, Does anyone recommend a good company that actually turn up when booked and don't destroy the goods being posted. Used to use parcel force and paisley freight but was constantly being let down. Thanks Dan
