I've been trying to isolate a chronic boost leak and just can't for the love of god find out what the issue is. Currently I've got the front end of my Z off (and as a result I've now missed my MOT) checking as much of the pipework as possible, everything is tight, all the hoses are fitted correctly and in good condition yet the boost needle sits on 0. I have an additional boost leak somewhere else which I have had for a while that I can't identify either noticed by when off boost, vacuum doesn't drop totally to -14 (sits around -10) Despite rigging it up to a boost leak detector, absolutely NOTHING and it's driving me up the ****ing wall. What else can I possib…

Am I correct in that I saw a post here recently where someone said the high pressure hose can be rebuilt if i take the old one to a hose specialist engineer type place? If so, what specification hose would i require? If not, hey ho....I'll just buy a new one instead Secondly, I've started the Zed up for the first time since Nov/Dec, and heard a loud (ish) tapping from the drivers side of the head/block area until the oil warmed up on idle as i recharged the battery...should I be worried, or is there something else I should be checking during the annual fluids and filters change? Thanks.

I have non turbo decat pipes pictured below, they are advertised by Japspeed as turbo or non turbo, so my question is, when i convert my zed to a TT will these match up to the standard turbo as they are or will i need something else? Coming from a UK TT and will remove the precat too Cheers

Hi guys, anyone fitted one of these; It just seems everything is at the wrong angle to undo and I'm starting to think i need to remove the steering collum to do it. Engines out so I thought it would be a quick simple job, sadly not.

My paddle clutch decided to break up on me last night, so I'm in need of a good replacement clutch. Does anyone know any UK based companies that sell a good uprated clutch, probably good for 450bhp. I was going to get the RPS street clutch, but I'm concerned how long delivery from the states will be. Thanks!

I know this thread is not about the 300 z but it is about the 240z. And as i have said before. If i was ever to get rid of my 300z it would only be for a 240z. My question is in todays value what would one exspect to pay for a nice clean example oh and right hand drive. Cheers.

I'm fitting my rear diffuser soon and am planning to remove the stonechip effect on the bumper, I would also like to smooth the coach line groove at the same time, don't want to replace bumper or fit a skin over the top. Just curious if anyone has attempted this and if so what were the results.

Since bringing the Zed out of winter hibernation the temp gauge has been playing up. From cold it has a strange issue where as soon you accelerate the gauge goes down, almost exactly does the opposite of the turbo gauge vacuum, soon as that starts giving positive boost the temp gauge goes down then returns back up as soon as you take your foot off the gas. Once warm no issues. What's should I check?

Still mucking on with my boost controller, anyway, I've decided the wiring may not be working since one wire was sticking out a little lol. So, I've took the pins out of the connector to re-wire them and they look a bit pants (cos of me trying to get them out). Anyone know where I might find some the same size? Maplins didn't have any...

For quite a while now, I have been thinking about changing my interior. When I bought the car back in '05, it had tweed, albeit in very good condition. However, I didn't like the feel or appearance of it and about 6 years ago had it all gutted and drummed with a 2-tone leather. I like the smell and look of leather, but it's not supportive and it creaks. I've been speaking to Mondo on and off about having it trimmed in an alcantara / leather hybrid which is ultimately what I will have done toward the end of the year providing that I am still living in the UK as there's a good possibility that I won't be. In the interim (intentional word), I've bought a very tidy …

I read only fitted on manual car subframes . Just curious anyone know what theses do and do I need to refit them thanks .
