I am getting a code 14 and intermittent loss of power steering. I understand code 14 is speed sensor, my speedometer is working fine even when the power steering fails, could they be related? First thing I will do is clean the connectors on the speed sensor, what else can I do to diagnose? Thanks, Dan

So I finally have the money and the space to get myself a z again. I have the chance of getting a completely stock 91 model with low miles, but how long will it be stock? I owned one before so I know there will be things I want to change... Do I get the stock one, and mod it to my likings knowing exactly what has been done and that it's done properly or do I pay a little more for an already modded example unsure of specifics? :-/

Was talking to Jimmer about his car at the weekend and he was saying how his flared arches were bothering him ( guys that did it rushed them and the panel has deformation) I actually used to roll arches for a living and said I would give them a go at smoothing them out :) Since im buying a new roller ( the old one was binned after breaking it) and the other bits I was wording if anyone else needed their arches rolled or flared ? I would charge a little bit as I t does take a good few hours but still nowhere near what companies charge  If your interested let me know and we can try hash out details etc cheers Ross

Hi Folks I find myself in an interesting/unusual/semi comical situation. I have somehow managed to buy another 2 300zx TTs. One is running and all is good, the other is probably a parts car. Here's my issue and feel free to laugh as the humour of the situation doesn't escape me. The parts car was put into a double garage when it was running about 8 years ago. The only issue being it was put in SIDEWAYS!!!! There is about 8 inches clearance at either end so was clearly a 900 point turn. Car is an auto, no battery on it and the ignition barrel has been removed and a bit of a birds nest of wires hanging below the steering column. I have a battery pack so I …

When I'm driving along I get a small amount of water weep from both the front screen water nozzles, they are both brand new OEM items so what do I need to stop this happening? Its spoiling my highly polished paintwork! I don't have the same problem at the rear strangely. Are there some check valves I need to replace somewhere?

Ok, I did the car, that's fine. The bumpers though, argh! The orbital was going to take forever, so I got an angle grinder with a metal sanding disc...which did the job, but has left lots of dimples in the plastic, where I've pressed too hard. I've used a whole can of £9 high-build primer on top of plastic primer on one single spot, and it has rubbed down smooth (the left side, lighter grey, in the pics) but there are still lots of dimples. I'm considering plastic filler, but I've never used plastic filler, so have no experience. I don't want it to all go wrong and maybe crack or fall off after base coat painting. If I had the spa…

Seems to be one thing after another at the moment my problem now is lifter rattle. Sounds to me like the drivers rear lifter is tapping pretty loud it started when I drive her to Liverpool earlier this week . So I've got back and done a flush and oil change but it's made no difference so I may do another flush as the oil was manky. Can someone confirm the oil as I'm using 5w30 Mobil super 3000. Also any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

After talking to Mondo yesterday, we were discussing the 'aged' looking calipers (GTR R33 brembos). Anyway, I wondered what colours people think would look good. Kind of think black might be a bit boring even though it's a black car. Let me know what ya's think

Hi all, Is there a D.I.Y way to check and get the camber adjust right or as close as possible on the car before a long journey home? The height of the car as well as the width of the tyres have been changed. I'm sure the rear camber of the wheel's have been changed also. Thanks Dan

I have a JDM Fairlady Twin Turbo and will be swapping the original speedo etc. for a UK spec unit. My car has only done 62k and most of the UK spec clocks I have seen have many more miles on the odometer....my question is...is it possible to...(and if so how) adjust the odometer on the clock set to reflect the true mileage of the car? Hey guys, got a unusual question here, I recently purchased a used Z32 clock from japan and I noticed in the photos on the auction site that the clock has a bluish digit colour display; After a little bit of research I read a quote on the aus300zx forums by a member who stated that the later model Z32's got the indiglo/green/blue colour clocks just like the Nissan Maxima's did but no physical proof has been posted up proving this. All of the photos and brochures i have collected regarding information on the later model Z32's, all show white display clocks But I noticed on the clock today after I opened my package from Japan, the clip points for the f…
