  1. spoken to him this weekend, i've decided to let it go its just too far gone to rescue I think. I can see it being broken by the person interested in buying it either way I don't think its financially viable to rescue
  2. Is it really that bad :( Well may have a look if nothing else just to see how the old girl is these days such a shame
  3. should be good to look her over in the next few days and with any luck i'll bring her home to be rebuilt back to a good standard
  4. she looked mint when I got rid of her and she ran great (other than some tappet rattle), when I bought her she was rough was hell. I ended up respraying the front (twice), back end, drivers side. I had the wheels refurbished, cleaned up all the interior. Changed the back lights back to a more stock look, changed all the suspension as all the rose joints were shot and a full brand new stainless exhaust from the turbos back. I think I spent about £3k on it to clean it up, absolute waste when I saw it on ebay
  5. ah that's good to hear that someone is sorting her out properly would be good to see it put straight again
  6. yeah when it left me it needed a bit of welding at the back of the sills and it had a top end rattle. Sounds like it was driven till the engine was dead then it got an engine transplant and a gearbox change but no welding. Last I saw of it the subframe mounts were shot plus the body kit was all cracked up like someone had hit a bollard. I spoke to the owner and he said he had just got it and the previous owner (the guy that got it from me) had hit a pot hole (yeah ok) Anyway he was asking 5k which was far far too much basede on the fact it needed a new set of rear quarters (bodykit) and a shed load of welding. Plus it just looked rough which is shocking saying I had almost repainted the full car!
  7. I'd love another tbh I regret selling the last one I just didn't have the time to spend on it as it was my daily driver. After seeing how its been looked after I wish I had kept it, the lad I sold it to said he was going to do all sorts but it looks like he was a bit of a dreamer and its just been abused. So sad
  8. yeah the MOT history since I owned it is shocking certainly hasn't had an easy life :(
  9. haven't been on in a while and infact I don't own my widebody any more, I sold this a couple of years back now to a gent that I believe really abused it sadly. I saw it just before Christmas on eBay looking very sorry for itself up in Windermere and I would have happily bought it back but the new owner was wanting way to much for the issues it now has. Just thought I'd come on to see if anyone knows what happened to it, I spent a lot of money getting it right and its a shame it was so badly abused after I owned it. Its reg was M550OGS and this is one of the last pictures I have of her
  10. Was kind of gutted but it's a decision that's been playing on my mind for a while I do need something more fitting to my job Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  11. She's been great but I've had to be sensible and get rid I need something g for work a big newer although I am looking at 350zs Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  12. Well cars going to be moving to its new owner tomorrow tappets are getting better so I'm sure after a while it will be back to sounding smooth again.... Some final pictures of her as she goes https://www.dropbox.com/sh/owxzkswmwhhj4q9/AADzBISIZxA6YFl_LcpMsovwa?dl=0 I've loved my zx ownership time and I'm sure I will be back either with another in the future or with a 350z Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  13. I've just got home after picking my little boy up and everytime I drive the car I have a huge grin. It's a great car but I need to be sensible.... I might just buy a sensible one too lol or a 350z
  14. Tbh I love the car but as much as I love it I've stuck it on ebay to gauge interest. I use this as a daily driver and I can't afford it letting me down so if it goes it goes. 8 months for me to keep a car is good but I'm feeling it's time for a change really I need something more practical for work which is a sad truth. I have been known to change my mind though lol
