my bushing on the left rear axil was leaking thick honey type necter about a month ago now, how badly does this need fixed and what price would u b talkin about 2 get part and fitting? it still drives ok thow. also iv got a slight blow out somewere near the middle of the car but when iv looked under, it seems a bit rusty and was thinkin ov getting a whole new front 2 back system, what would b the best and chepest 2 buy and what if i bought turbo back decat pipes 4 an N/A car wud that b a problem or wud it work? its a 91 import swb. many tks any 1.

Hi, some advice needed please :) When enyterimng a roundabout my power steering will die making it very hard to steer. As i then use all my strength to pull the car round it will suddenly start working again. Is becoming very dangerous as you can all understand. Do the 300's have progressive power steering system?????? If so where????? Any advice gratefully recieved.

Im selling my Zed at the end of September... But with norton insurance they will only give me 30% refund if i cancel my policy after 2 months of taking it out.... Any ideas?? are there any cheap insurance companys who will insure a 26 yo for 2 months? or will i have to sell my Zed before i want to??

Help please someone. My 300zx ( imported recently) seems to be dumping air overboard. I had the same issue on another zx before. Thinking it was safety boost I did all the usual things...disconnect and clean all conectors ( water, TPS etc) and the issue went away. On this one same problem. It will boost to around 5 but no further and if I drive it for a while the warning light that looks like an exhaust with heat comes on. Checked the ECU and did all the same things again and I can't get rid of it. I don't know the exact history of the car but it has an Apexi S-AFC fitted so I think maybe at some point it had a boost controller as well...so I checked for the intake pipes …

Looking at a set of wheels details are: 17 inch x 8J front and 9J rear and offsets Front is 22.5mm and rears 42.5mm. Question is are they ok for Z fitment? Any help will be much appreciated... :)

Drove over a bump in the road last night and all my lights went off and the high beam stuck permanently on. Got no dash lights, side (front or back) or headlights but high beam is on no matter where the indicator stalk is. Indicators and brake lights work but thats it, Any one had this before ??? :bow: :bow: :bow:

Morning people, Ive noticed that when I switch my lights on (or fogs), Im getting a belt noise - like a quiet squeal. Im presuming any heavy electrical device will cause this. Now I still have problems with a belt slipping (either power steering or alternator) - Im using some spray belt grip temporarily whilst I order new power steering belt as this was a cheapie fitted. Thing is - does it sound like the alternator belt wants replacing, It sorta gives a high pitch whine/squeal but not very loud when lights are on.

Guys need your help/suggessions urgently, was really looking forward to going to jae this year, zed was running spot on until today :headvswal :( was driving along & all of a sudden it cut out in traffic but started straight away but then started hesitating so got home did all the usual checks but have had no luck will start ok from cold but will start missfiring then cut out have recently replaced following bits S2 ptu new plugs ecu temp sensor/harness cas fp ecu maf seems fine as ive disconnected plug which made no difference, coilpacks/injector connectors could do with replacing but still seem ok could it be a faulty fuel regulator ?? all help appreci…

Hi people, After by-passing my heater matrix (thanks again to pk1 as his pics on the issue helped me alot) as it was busted, I've noticed that my A/C is not working. I just wanted to know if this is due to the matrix not connected or could there be another reason for this. If the matrix has got nothing to do with it, what do you guys suggest I should look at. Any help would be appreciated guys. Cheers.

Hello guys, Need to get decat pipes as my right side cat pipe is leaking. I have a 94 TT, series 2 and heard before that the decat pipes for series 1 and 2 are slightly different. Does anyone know if this is correct before I get a set. thanks in advance ronnie

Hi all Been looking around my other z today it has a PIAA prof system writen on a small black box and plenty of wires look like thier going to the front lights anyone know about them what is it etc...

how many radiators is there on the car. i have 4 plus the 2 intercoolers 1 big one for the engine another big one which im not sure about. and 2 small ones. im assuming one is for air con and the other is for gearbox.

anyone know where i can buy some of those fancy keys that i can copy for my zed.....you know the ones that like the audi TT etc

UK manual TT........Had engine out and fitted pair of standard tubs which where fine on the engine they came off of. Car boosts up ok reads just over halfway in the + on stock gauge, i know stock gauge isnt a very reliable reading. What i want to know is what speed should i expect to reach in 1st gear when i boot it from a stand? at present i can get to about 25-30mph then engine just revs and the limiter kicks in, its quick to reach this speed but by the time i realise, the engine has reved and the limiter has kicked in. cant remember the car doing this with the other turbos before i siezed 1 up. Car dosnt fell as quick with these tubs, not sure if they came off a j…

Zcentre only list the "Rear Perspex Strip Without B/Light" on the website now. Is it possible to remove the brake light portion from a perspex strip that has it and 'stick' it on to one of these non-brake light strips? Does this 'non-light' version have a window for the light to shine through?? :confused:

Can i take an earth for my hids from one of the grounding kit points in my car with no side effects? I see no reason why in thoery but the zed is my first car with a grounding kit so thought id check

i have a slight water leak under the left inlet manner right next to the battery. i need a engine diagram or coolant system diagram so i can tell wat bit i need or if something needs a little bit of sealant cheers steve :smash:
