...you haven't got rid of me that easily  :hyper: I've had a chat with my dad and brother and we're going to pool our money together into one decent lowish mileage estate car :D Primarily it's going to be a 2003 Mondeo 2.0 130bhp TDCI GHIA Estate 50mpg+, 6 gears, comfy and reasonably quick and big enough to lug the rubbish in the back of, tow a caravan and do all the long distance driving in. £478 fully comp with him and my bro on the insurance. Which means i can keep the zed as a weekend car on classic insurance, it's having the suspension set up properly next week and i have a couple of spare 235 tyres that can go on in the meantime to …

A few weeks ago the horn started beeping by itself when the car was on the driveway, it went on for about 3mins then stopped then 1min later went off again, fixed the problem by disconnecting the battery, when the battery was connected again (about a week later) the problem disappeared. Just got home today and its doing it again, this time its continuous, disconnected the battery, every time i put the +ive back on it beeps. What can i do? I very rarly use the horn, a hand gesture seems to do the trick better, where abouts is the wire to disconnect it? Thanx Nathan

Thinking of getting a replacement subframe ready to fit with new bushes etc. How much work is it to actually swap the subframe? Remove exhausts, prop, diff, HICAS - what else?

hi guys, today I had a set of KYB AGX', adjustable whiteline antiroll bars, eibach springs, and poly anti roll bar bushes, harve's camber correction kit and together with my nismo bushes fitted last summer, the car now feels fckin awesome... some of you may have heard of Tony from Wheels in Motion who is a suspension geometry specialist in watford... he put me in touch with kipling motors in hemel hempstead who he has trained in car geometry so its spot on. i cant recommend this combo enough! it really makes the car feel new and like its lost weight... just thought i'd tell u guys because it feels like i have a brand new z32!

Hi my Z has been off the road for a little while whilst I save up to do some more work on it, anyway I came to get in it today, alarm and central locking did not work as the battery is flat, not a problem as I have used a booster to get it going the last few times as I know theres a drain on the power. So as usual I go to unlock with the key. The Key turns in the lock and I hear a click and damn the door wont open! The key just turns round about 180 deg in each direction. I only have the original titanium ignition key which only works in the ignition and the nissan door key which only ever worked in the driver side door but not the passenger side or boot. Im locke…

I am having to change my exhaust including the catalystic converters and cannot get the sensors out from them. They are a peculiar size and do not fit well in the metric spanner chosen and have now had to try stilsons, which is chewing them up. Has anyone got some sort of novel way of getting these b******s out, without damaging them, or are new ones reasonably priced and easy to fit. Do they connect into the ECU ??
