I'm looking to get Sat Nav, got a few questions as I don't know much about it.

* Is it easy to move fomr one car to another. I have 2 cars and would like to use it in both.

* If I want to get a sat nav that covers Europe, do I need to buy a pre programmed model or can I just download maps from somewhere when I know I'm going to a certain country ?.

* Any recommendations on what make model to go for ?. I don't want the top of the range ones, I just want something that's gonna get me from where I am to where i want to be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I've got the previous model to this Navman F20 Europe and been very impressed.

For £164 with full European maps it's a bargain.

One feature it has which TomTom etc don't have is dedicated buttons to take you to the nearest petrol stations and car parks - great when you're in a strange town and don't know where things are :)

Rechargeable so you can carry it in your pocket from car to car or just stick the cradle to your windscreen and plug it in the lighter socket for longer trips.

I have the NAvman F20.

As it only cost me £160 (they are now around £120-ish :mac1: ) I think is does a fine job. It has UK speed camera sites too at no extra cost.

The TomTom One is now under £150 in places and that is probably better as it has full digit post code search, whereas the Navman doesn't take the last 2 digits.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
