eh up chaps just doin a bit of research for my new toy. i currently have a series 2 93 zed which has pretty much all the toys u can get... dual elec heated seats, digital climate, cruise, etc etc. What i am curious to know is, what am i going to gain and what am i going to lose buying a version S Z (95+)? I am aware that the version s came with a drivers airbag and that it no longer had a boost gauge in the dash (which isnt really much of a problem as the stock one was always unreliable), but what else will i lose or gain? im told nissan started to scrimp a bit and went cheap on the interior/gadgets in the later specs... any help or advise would be apprecia…

Hi Chaps. Having a problem with a bad connection from what my friend informs me is the main engine fuse. Forgive my ignorance, it's the big sucker with a blue wire loop coming out of it. Can any body tell me what I need to ask for? and any guidance as to where to get one. Always appreciate the input. Look after 'em

As some of you might know, im in the middle of having my engine rebuilt. The engine is basically finished but when we came to last turbo, we found the braided hose that came with it didnt fit. Phil at C and S Woods rang Smithy to see if he could supply, but Smithy couldnt but gave us a company who maybe able to supply an adaptor for us. The following day Smithy found a spare oil feed line he had and sent it to Phil just incase it would fit and yes it did :) Just asked how much I owe and he said dont worry about it! Great bloke, always been helpful in the past and now giving advice on home extensions lol. Great trader for the 300zx.co.uk community. Ba…

1990 J/spec. Replacement rear dampers. F/OS and R/NS corners replaced from donor cars. 17" rims. 235/45 on front and 265/40 on rear. Why is this car not handling? My Mitsi Shogun Sport handles better than my Zed! :headvswal Have been having handling probs for YEARS. JeffTT spotted damage to F/OS and R/NS steering assembly probably caused by curb hit damage after a spin. He replaced these corners from a donor car and driving it back was a dream. A couple of weeks later and I'm kinda back where I started. Slowly, the handling has worsened. I am now getting 4 wheel drift on right hand bends and on left hand bends the car starts to lean into the corner, then…

Evening people, after making a new loom up from my speed sensor i need to wire it in somewhere, obviously i can adapt the old connections which i believe to be yellowblue(sensor input) and black(earth) or can i go direct to the screws on the pcb,or... as an option, is it possible to earth the sensor directly to the interior of the car with no ill effects? cheers in advance y`all.p.s thanks for all previous replies certainly helped, now know it not to be the sensor, got to be a dodgy head.

Hi all, after some paint advice. I own a 90 Zed that requires some small paint work touching up due to the usual stone chips and scrapes that materialise onto the front of our cars. I've been to good old Halfords who aren't able to identify the paint code. Help? 1990 import Red 2+2 T,Turbo Paint code, AJ3

I am tired of looking for a good reliable importer that would bring me a Z from Japan Violet no back spoiler! and it seems like it´s getting to be a pain in the azz! everyone talks about how good it is to bring a Z from Japan..but all I see on the auctions list lately is complete trash! very poor ugly quality Z´s.. where are those good Z´s low mileage with extras that all these companies like Bonsai and neweraimports state on their propaganda? I been quoting with different imports websites in the last year and despite Japcity wich is one of the best I found..the rest are complete shit. Bonsai and newera are so and I mean soo damn rude:( you put a quote for them …

Right i just got a new Zed and am going to town on it Stock!!! but first i want to make sure it won't rot around me :nono: . So the wings are coming off, back bumper and all underneth fixing's. Also going to spray wax oil into the sills. Thought about spraying wax oil where the bumper sit's and in the rear wing from inside, also inside the front wings. But was wondering what is best for the rest of car, waxoil or underseal, for inside the wheel arches, or waxoil first so all the nooks and cranies are soaked then underseal-stonechip on top. thanks in advance  graeme

I know a lot of you on here have extra gauges in your cars, I have room for three. I was thinking water temp, turbo boost and volts, what do you have and which gauge would be more useful instead of. :D Cheers Paul

So close yet so far, having had all my panels retrimmed and having just refitted them went to put in my new front seats. I had to get some brackets made up to enable me use the original subframes as the 'universal' ones are about as useful as a choclate teapot. Anyway, attached the brackets and successfully transplanted the original rails from the passenger seat to the new one, got it in the car... All ok snug fit :hyper: :D Went to do the Drivers side... Completely different story, the mounting points are further apart - no problem i just modified the brackets BUT on removal of the original rails discovered that the motor and mechanisim is part of the original seat…
