I had a search, but couldn't find an answer. Maybe it's so simple that nobody else needs to ask... My Z has an old Blaupunkt Bremen radio-casstte head unit with a 10CD changer in the boot. The cables to the changer burnt out after a hot track session and I decided that was the cue to bin the changer and get a new head unit. To keep it simple (I hoped :rolleyes: ) I stuck with Blaupunkt. I was worried that the connectors might be different, but the cocky kid in the electronics superstore assured me they were the same – just unplug the old, plug in the new. So, finally, I found time to do this. Pull out the old and see straight away that they are NOT the sam…

These are 324mm discs, are they the same as the skyline discs that everyone wants and if they are would I be able to use them with Smithys adapters he sells.

Just done a compression test....... On taking the plug out of the middle right cylinder alarm bells started ringing, oil all over it. results are 145 V 80 140 V 30 140 V 135 So thats it then, now I have a desision to make, break it or fix it Im totally 50/50 at the moment I really want to get shot of it and get something simple that I will actually get some enjoyment out of, caterham perhaps. I dont see the point of having a big GT car just for the weekends when i might as well just get a proper track car. There is now only two weeks until the cut off date of 24th April for the reduced priced tickets for the JTS2007 show at Silverstone on the 3rd June that incorporates the Great Z Parade These tickets enables you to take part in the parade and park in the prime Z/ZX only area inside the circuit. If you don't have one of these you will have to park your pride and joy in the general car park and just watch the parade from the stands Come on you guys, and there are plenty of you, who put your names up as wanting to take part and if you are going too miss out because you are too late please do not blame me

Anyone ever fitted R34GTR wheels to a 300 ? I understand they are 9.5" x 18" with an offset of 15mm - will they fit ? I have R33 wheels at the moment which are fine, although 17" and a little narrower.

Just want to clarify that I was provoked and that there were absolutely no cars in front or anywhere near (apart from the snails at the back). Hi folks, i sent my zed in for a full blow over after fitting the new spoiler and bumper and when i picked it up it seemed excellent. Its only now with the better weather and different lighting i noticed that i can still see swirls in the paint - although very feint it is consistent all over the car (almost like extremely light scratches). Is this to be expected or am i expecting too much. I did approach 3 or 4 places for the price which was £1500 (not inc vat) which they were all about that price - but he was recommended. Any views or advice greatly appreciated.

Ok i'm guessing this is normal but just want to make sure... Since installing my apexi avcr and upping the boost to around 1bar i've heard the turbos spooling up more. I don't have a dump valve(s). You can actually hear the turbos working where as before you couldn't with std boost. I take it this is normal as they are working harder. Or do I have a boost leak or are my seals going? It's quite a sharp sounding tsssssssssssssssssshttttttttttttt

There was a sensor on the window blower vent on the pass side. Looked like a light sensor, but what uses it?!?!?!?!?

can any1 tell me whether the 99 spec front bumper without the number plate mount was an oem production part or just an aftermarket modification? cheerZ Joel
