General Discussions - 300ZX Related

Ok, fairly soon the zed will go wide arch. I want to buy some rims and obviously want them to look right in the arches. Im hoping to get something with as deep a dish as possible. My question is what width of wheels should i be looking at in both 18 and 19" and on both the front and back if possible as i don't know whether to stick with the standard 8.5 width on the front or not Thanks Lee

Changed all my interior including centre console parts now only high beam works when i turn the lights on.. no side lights, tail lights or dash lights working. Checked the 2 fuses in nearside fuse box and they are ok, dont know about the footwell ones as i have not got a diagram of the fuse layout PLEASE HELP :confused: :rant:

The first good clean of the year. I got a load of Meguir's stuff - car shampoo and three stages - paint cleanser, polish and wax. It's bought the car up nice! Looks like one of my LED sidelight bulbs may have gone though - will have to investigate tomorrow.

Has anyone tried the 320mm discs from an EVO6 on a Z? I believe someone on here has adapted the calipers

I'm going to try sort out Mrcus's auto box out tomorrow, just would like a few questions clarifiying first if poss. I've looked at the online manual on doing this but when you drain the oil does this empty the torque convertor as well, also is it possible to drain all the lines as he has an aftermarket oil cooler on. What is the best thing to clean the box filter with, says Mineral turps???? whats this, as i dont want to use the wrong stuff. We have a new filter and good oil,but think it would be best to flush the system with ordinary box oil before putting in the good stuff as the old oil smells burnt. just hope that theres not loads of bits in the fluid or metal o…

I have got to admit I baulk at paying defi prices although I love their gauges, cos I am a tight git :D But have seen some of autogauge style gauges that are really nice, has anyone tested how accurate they are?

wasnt sure about the smooth soft look. Chris parked his zed up next too mine and mine looked far too soft. refitted vented nose panel now. I think its the 99 spec bumper im not so keen on - may want to get rid/swap for something a little more aggressive like the scarab.
