finally got a garage to look at my car with lumpy running and top end sounds, they checked it but couldnt say what it was without striping it down, so was going to arrange to get it looked at in detail. got back to work the next day and one of the lads came to look at it and after doing the compression test found out that one of the exhaust valves had gone, so now armed with what was wrong with the car it was time to get it sorted. drove home and just before pull on my drive BANG goes the valve into the piston HAHA cant believe it but now getting another second hand engine in and gearbox so cant wait to get the car back, just thought id let you all now about my luck haha
