I know lots of you have done this but how do you get it to stay behind the fascia piece? FAQ anyone pleeeeeeese wanna do this cos it pisses me off wheres it is (stuck to bottom of left pod) keep clouting it with me knee muchios thankyous :D

Heya just bought a 300zx a 1991 TT, Targa Manwell and had it a few days and the motor has pushed the aerial all the way out and it fell on the floor!have tried getting it back in by turning the Ignition key to off so the Motor Retracts the Cable but i cant get any luck Any suggestions??Dont really wan2 pay some1 20quid for it seems abit pointless!! hi was just driving home from work and gear lever became all sloppy. it seems to have dropped. i can find all gears by lifting lever up before i change. once in gear it is fine. i would have thought it would be a gear linkage/bushes? how do i fix it?

Can anyone please give advice on whether to re-build my engine or to replace it with a used unit, the big ends have now given up and it has suffered from a top end rattle, ( guessing lifter prob) for a while what would be the best route to go? not in a hurry to get it back on the road as yet, also what should I expect to pay for crank re-grind, bearings rebuild etc? I will be doing the re-build myself to save on costs, any help is appreciated.

My car's almost ready to put back on the road and being a zed i need to fit a tow bar for towing the car when it breaks down LOL.Where's yours ?I didn't fit my bumper so i don't even know where the original one was so any suggestions please. :D

there is a hissing or buzzing noise coming from the back of my engine, next to the battery, sounds like a wind up toy car, it gets faster when revving the engine, you can only hear it when ya have ya head next to the back of the engine, any ideas what it is also if i move the conection on the tps, it alters the engine note slightly, could it be a loose wire somewhere????

Anyone had this prob out there. :headvswal Car was lying for two weeks and when i went to start it it the battery was dead so i put charged battery in and tried to start and it back fired a few times then started. I drove it around the block and after turning it off could not start again as if it was flooding.Went to it the next day and after turning the engine over for ages with foot on the peddal it eventually started. When i turned it off it wont start again any ideas :confused:

for lending me your boost tester kit, just used it there and it was a boost leak and not the dreaded turbo! got it fixed now and car runs as sweet as ever thank you! will post it back tomorrow

Hi guys and girls I have a an N/A with custom headers . . . cat-less down pipes . . .. . and a recently fitted cat back exhaust with x-pipes from the group buy that ran a few weeks back now . . . so basically I have a straight-thru zorst and the sound it produces any f1 team would be proud of So for my sanity I need to tone it down . . . . as under any accelleration or sittin at 70 on the motorway it is torture and at certain revs sounds very metalic even though its done 500+ miles since being fitted I have made local enquiries with custom zorst maker who wants £300 to cut me x-pipes and add some inline boxes or fit a 3"x15" muffler into the section before…

i've just check the web site of time attack in UK and i'm surprise there is no 300zx at all... Why nobody participate to this event :confused: One of our trader could have one 300zx to race with it, why not :confused:

I hadn't fired up my beast of a zed for 5 months. Stuck a new battery in & Started it.. let it run rough for a little while and then took it our for a spin to see it that would help. what sort of problems would one think this chain of events could cause? or any, for that matter.

Don't know if this will help anyone with this all to common problem, but my idle was all over the place. Then found out I had problem with an alternator connector which had briken, it went altogether and the car stopped with a flat battery. Got the connecter replaced, battery charged etc, and never had any idle speed problems since!! Don't know if it was anything to do with this, but do know that it hasn't happened since other problem fixed. Maybe electrical supply problems like this can cause it?

Has anyone bought or fitted this bonnet? What Quality is the fibreglass? The body shop said that it could be more work fitting fibreglass bonnets than cutting vents into the stock hood purely down to ripples in the fbreglass and getting them to fit perfectly.

My stereo makes a high pitch wine and it changes frequency etc with engine acceleration etc ? Somone said somthing about earth wireing probably ? If anyone knows could they explain how to fix it in detail as im a simpleton :)

Ok so.. After all the posts and help from you guys turns out all the symptoms were a knackered water pump. It had a small water leek etc which i thought was the matrix and then there was a suspected oil leak or burst pipe. Cars under warrenty so thankfully it all turns out its a minor (to fix) problem. Car should be back tomorrow or monday, whoohoo!!
