Hello everyone, I have some Greddy TD05 16G turbos which have basically just sat around doing nothing. They were reconditioned by nend and have not been used since. My engine is pretty standard, well worse than standard actually What sort of mods should i make to actually get any use out of these turbos as im assuming they wouldn't be much use on a standard engine would they? I don't know (Oh and this is assuming that i have a normal engine and not a crap one)

Engines out and Lambda sensors cannot be removed intact (one is about to shear off)New Lambdas do not have to go back to original position as I have Dupree wastegates where they are positioned on top....BUT I need two Lambda sensors in a rush as mechanic is stuck as from now :bow:

Just has the Police at my door and charged me on having no tax, no insurance and no MOT. I bought my Z as a project to keep me occupied as i have a bad heart and don't work anymore. Now the car is on SORN and as it don't move as the engine and gearbox is out i haven't bothered with insurance as its off the road and going no where. I have had it parked up at the front of my house off the road where i have been working on it when i can, but the Police say it still counts as on the road even though in the pics you can see its off the road and not obstructing traffic. Any help and advice as to where i stand on this is much appreciated as i genuinly thought i was doing nothi…

I'm starting to notice coloured Zeds with black roofs. Like the Beet one, like Rainbows. It's a good look, but what made you do it in first place as it could of looked terrible.

Strange thing this.... I live on a gentle slop (in wales...yeah right), the other day I started the car and smoke started to gently blow from the near side exhaust, but the offside was fine. I drove that car to work and parked up; checked the exhaust and all was well, not some much of wiff of anything wrong. Drove home all ok... but this time reversed the car onto my drive. Started her up the following morning and this time the offside was blowing smoke..... I ALWAYS let the engine run down for 3/5 mins after driving anywhere. Is there any reason why the turbos appear to be retaining some oil when parked sideways on a slope? I don't think it's my turbo's. …

Hi All I've not been very active posting on here for a long time and those that know me will know the reasons why ;) One of the main problems is that my Zed's been off the road for well over a year now! The reason for this post is that I've finally got around to getting the car worked on today, and with a bit of luck and a fair wind, I may even be back on the road next week :eek: Please keep your fingers crossed for me and I will keep you all posted... the Z comes with twin exhausts which looks great and the cars wouldnt look the same without them but IMO the single exit sounds better, just wondering what you lot think :D does anybody have any sound clips or videos to help ppl decide?

Hello all, I recently bought a FET 360 turbo timer it was out of a nissan not sure what model? it has a nissan key lock adapter and loom I have no instructions how to install. Is there anyone out there who has installed this type of turbo timer and who can tell me how to install it? theres a white plug with 3 pins on it which I think plugs into the ignition barrel? with red/yellow and blue wires on it, theres a black wire probably earth? two blue wires the same but with connectors which I can plug into each other but come from the same box, a white wire, grey wire and another white wire with red stripes, I have no idea where these go! any info would be great!!! how hard are these to change and how much are they? the nearside doesnt look too bad once the battery is off but the offside looks a bit awkward from the top i havnt checked access from underneath yet. the reason i want to change them is im still having an overfuelling problem even with the boost leaks sorted, i know they are thirsty cars but im only getting around 150miles per tank and its not massivly modified and the back of the car keeps getting covered in black soot which is a nitemare to clean off :headvswal

My car has been off the road for a while and I haven't got around to getting it MOT'd. Anyway, I decided today that I'd give it a service and take it for the MOT tomorrow, hoping it would pass and I can take it to the Festival of Speed on Friday. :) So I changed the oil, etc and then decided I'd better check the bulbs as one always seems to fail on the way to the MOT station. I found that when I indicated left it would flash much quicker than when I indicated right. Had my zed now for about three months, all the suspension is now sorted( upper arms, lower arms, tension rods, shocks n springs) now i want to ncrease the power abit so have read that a chipand iehter boost jets or a boost contoller will be the best way. does any one know who can supply the chip for me as not sure where to start or what one i'll need. all advice will be appreciated cheers all.
