I ripped all the aircon stuff out the other weekend as it wasn't working and I was wanting to lose weight LOL Since doing this the outside temp display on the dash pod is showing -86 or something. Do I need to reconnect something? Presume I've chucked out the ambient temp sensor with all the junk but I didn't notice it. The only thing I unplugged that I can think of is the small bottle type thing (dryer?) under the bumper.

I needed the two connecting rods and bushes for my rear stabilizer bar so I rang my local Nissan, they wanted £128.00 + Vat.Tried the USA dealers and £58.00 delivered.Much better.Bought a complete set up from Luke at the ZCenter £18.00 and popped round to his house tonight and picked them up.Well done Luke    He said they should be on his site shortley,so snap em up at this price Peeps as if you have a rusting set on your Zed these are worth changing at this price.........Vinz

Just done the old "drop the gearbox sump... clean the magnet thingy" on my UK TT. I had the drain plug on my sump ....which was handy ............ still got loads of oil down my sleeve into my arm pit and on my drive when I released the sump though  It wasn't the nicest of colours.........so I think it probably needed doing. Heres my question....... I had done a seach on the forum about the job before I started it and expected to drain off 2-3 litres of old oil.........I got 4L out of mine is that normal or was it over filled previously????

Hey guys, We've been working on a new design for the rear bumper and we already finished our first concept...It's not ready yet, since it's going back to surgery to correct some details and add some curves here and there, tho...After the first concept rear bumper is finished, we will be starting the design of a rear diffuser that we think is going to be an amazing improvement for both aesthetics and performance. Anyway, we are thinking about selling this product in UK and Europe too, as we've tried with the front fascia. The thing is that, as most of you know, we couldn't find a distributor that could take care of the sales of our products in UK and Europe, so …

you buy a car from a trader with 6 months warranty... a week or so after the purchase you find that the engine is actually buggered and a new one is needed... the car is booked in to a garage to be repaired but because of awaiting the availability of another engine the car is in the garage for a long period of time... when i do eventually get it back there will be next to fook all left of the warranty period so if the new engine causes any probs i would have to fit the bill... so basically since purchasing the car iv hardly driven it and had to seek permission from the person i bought it from to join the z parade at silverstone. any advice welcome :)

Just wondered if they affect the bulb warning panel on the dash, and if they are any good at all? Also vaguely remember a thread on the brake light bulbs that flash when you touch the brakes but can't find it, can someone give me a pointer?

As many of you may be aware, Andy was issued with a temporary one month ban last Wednesday for continuing to post anti-club and anti-committee comments on the board. Andy has requested I post the following statement from himself In light of Andy's apology, the Committee has decided to lift his ban. Andy is fully aware of the Club's AUP and understands he's on his last chance. As far as the Committee is concerned, this matter is now closed. Thanks Steve-300ZX Membership Secretary

had my car rolling roaded today and it put out 356.9@ the flywheel with around 385ftlb torque, i was hoping for closer to 400bhp as i have seen better figures with less mods, i was going to upgrade to 555's so i could run more boost but was told i cant run anymore than 1bar(which im already running) without causing det, would upgrading to 555's give a performance increase or is it just for peace of mind ie knowing there will be sufficient fuel for 1bar boost? if i want to run more than 1 bar i will have to upgrade the pistons and if im upgrading the pistons i might aswell uprgade the con rods aswell and so on and so on to make labour costs more effective, how much would i…

If so, I bring you a little bit of relief. Just spoke to Martyn, the garage is not flooded as it is on higher ground, so your car is not under water, although I did have muchos funos winding Andy Line up on the phone just now saying that our cars were actually underwater... I was going to take it further with the residue in the water will cause all his gold plating to irode and rust, but I couldn't lower myself to that level. :duffer:
