can anybody tell me if 285/35/18 will fit the rear of my uk 300zx tt . just i have got some new alloys which i need to get tyres for and know of some 285/35/18 going cheap . i know it should be 265/35/18 . can anybody just confirm they will fit :bow: :bow:

Saw a white zed on a a lowloader going ipswich bound on the a12 today all stickered up like a race/drift car.

Thought i would say hello to you all, been searching for a couple of months and finally picked up my Zed today, uk, manual, full leather,with some nice mods, from a nice guy in Wallsall who i think is a member on here although dont know the user name, car was owned by a member before him so some probably know the car, in fact he said it was advertised on here a few months ago so might search for it. Very pleased with the car, being fussy a few little touch up jobs on the paint (odd chip n scratch here n there) and thats all it needs really. Will try get some pics up maybe, will probably be picking your brains over the coming months so be patient with me :D

I would just like an idea how much you guy's are paying for insurance. I have just had a quote from an insurance company that has blown me away. I would like to help you all out but first i want to know what your paying lol. If your car is over 16 years old that is.

Hi guys, we are having a few issues with a 1990 TT. We did alot of research in here and TT.net but still have some questions, and maybe someone can link the problems together etc... MODS: JWT Stage 3 ECU JWT Single POP intake Blitz SBC ID3 boost controller RPS clutch & Flywheel The car is running the stock exhaust with gutted cats. (Waiting for a SpecialtyZ system; downpipes and cat back.) We tested it with Conzult, everything was fine. Power balance test was ok, and everything else seems normal. Just thought I would let you know I'm off to Donington this Sunday for my first ever track day! I am very excited :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: but also a bit nervous about brake fade! I'll try and get some pics up when I am back.

As alot of you know I bought my recent 300zx fom Trents of ebay and it was written off after a long hard and expensive slog the time has come for the mot. Wish me luck coz so far the renavation and work that has been carried out so far has been a complete nightmare.

I know dyno figures are just pub talk. :duffer: However, does the forum have a power table. In terms of what power are people running. Are there many running over 550 - 600 hp etc. What set up would you require etc etc. :D

I know you are trying to build a track / daily driver with the slick top. I was surfing through SCC and came across this DC5 where they welded in OEM panels to strengthen the chassis. I must be on something this morning, so many q's! :hyper: I want to ask the stages of modification on a Jap spec TT; 1. Boost Controller 2. Free Flowing Exhaust 3. Induction / Air Cleaner 4. ECU Remap 5. Intercooler? 6. Radiator? 7. Stronger Clutch? 8. Larger Injectors? What size? 9. Fuel Pump 10. Bigger Turbos / Single Turbo Can someone more learned add to the list?? :bow:

When dealing with a Jap spec Fairlady. Are the Jap ECU's re mappable here or what alternative ecu should it be changed for to remap the car here? Also, anyone ever heard of a company calle "Bymark" ?? Thanks :D

Hello All, Just trying to get abit of a gauge on what i should expect to pay to have a little work done on my zed. Oil cooler install (upgrade for auto Box) Boost controller install and set up. tansmission drain and refill. Its mainly the boost controller cost that i'm interested in, can probably do the other stuff myself, but whilst its in there it would save me a job. Was thinking maybe swz as its the closest z specialist to me, i think. cheers in advance.

is there a diagnostic plus on a 300zx twin turbo on a H reg... and if so ..where would it be located....

I have been going through the net looking for facts and figures regarding our zed's, some of them I new some i didnt but i am going to add them all and see if any of them supprises you. 1986 won the trans-am series (never heard of it and it was obviously the z31) 1994 the z32 won the 24 hour daytona and the gts-1 class 24 hour le-mans. & 5th overall. won 2 IMSA GTS Driving championships won 2 IMSA GTS Manufacturers championships The 300zx holds the e/bms land speed record of 260.87 mph at the Bonneville Speed Trial!! and holds it still to this day!!! Hi Guys. Following from my newbie thread. I was wondering what are the pro's and cons of having a Jap import TT 300ZX Targa which has been converted from Auto to Manual. Is it something which should be avoided, or in some instances a better thing (more extra's, better ratio'd diff etc etc). Cheers :D

-80odd, sensor unhooKed, re attatched, no difference, bought a new one, no difference, did a Knight rider K.I.T self diagnostic, coming up with error (cant remember the number), equates to amb sensor circuit. Anyone brainy enough to tell me how to sort this out, easy job or as hard as it sounds? ta very much legger. :D

Right how many people would like a good after market Manifold for the NA. ie Alunox as in Smithy's group buy, Stillen as in the man who really did get TT+ power and performance out of a NA, Z1 a copy of Stillen or Flea Bay. How much would you think was a good price

Could someone please provide me with some cheap insurers telephone numbers or websites for my 300zx TT based on the following details 21yr old, male, quantity surveyor, 1YNCB, drive other car regular(zx weekend car), 1000mile annual mileage, 1accident 3years ago, speeding points 3years ago. third party fire and theft only Im currently with Admiral paying 2.6k/yr which im sure is a little excessive.

I used to have a twin exit exhaust and used to get the dreded smoke on idle after 10 mins, i have since got a single exit (like the sound) and the smoke has disappered. This maybe a silly question but i would like to go for the 2 fast 2 cool de cat setup as one of my cats is rattling around. Am i right in thinking that the smoke would come back to to the lack of back pressure with no cats. Thanks for helping
