My electric fan doesn't work and i've been trying to figure out why. First port of call was the relay box, there is 'RAD FAN' and 'SUB FAN' relays in there, which one is right? The relays in both of those are blue ones the same as the aircon one, I know the a/c works so i swapped over the both of these relays with the a/c one and it was still dead so I guess that rules out that. Is there a fuse for the fan? I read the footwell fuse box translation and there isn't one in there, maybe one in the other box behind the suspension turret? Is there anything else that might cause it not to work, other than a dead motor? I've been trying to make it start with th…

I know Vinz has just posted a similar thread but this is in a slightly different league. A few weeks ago now my car was hit while parked up, and I have managed to convince them to give me a full 4 wheel race alignment. Some time ago I found 2 places that could do it Weltmeister and Racing Developments which isn't responding for me at the moment. Does anyone else have any recomendations for other places that can do a FULL 4 wheel alignment? Thank you

i keep getting a code 13 coolent temp sensor. from searches it seems that the course of treatment is give it a clean up and if that doesnt work replace the sensor/connector. tried the clean up and didnt work. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=94431&highlight=ecu+coolant My question is what actually do you replace.....the connector plug or the actual sensor that screws into the top pipe or both. If it is the connector only how do you splice the wiring of the new one where the old one is? If it the sensor is it easy to remove it without snapping, shearing or threading anything? I imagine it would be held tightly to stop leaks + the odd bi…

I had my Zed four wheel laser aligned by http://www.m1fourwheelalign.co.uk and what a cracking job Shaun(The Boss)did on it as well.   Also before he set it up,changed all four tyres and balanced them for me.Can't praise the firm enough.I had a cracking time there, enjoyed it that much that I found it hard to leave. Thanks also to Shauns wife Judy for keeping me supplied with loads of mugs of tea.He spent three to four hours setting my car up unlike the previouse firm who managed to fook up all four tyres :xxx: in their 1/2 hour effort, get off the ramp, next outfit. So give this firm a try and your car will be spot on like mine.Mention me Vinz and he will…

Im intending to change my outo geer box oil this weekend. I've done a forum search so i think i'm there with it. Where can i get a 300zx haynes manual?? i believe i drain the oil out and clean the filter (where is this please??) Then how long do i run it so that i can drain it again to remove all the old oil before topping it up with fresh??? Is the oil drain on the sump of the geer box?? And finaly (most importantly) what oil?? Sorry if i seem a bit dim. I'll be more clued up on it as i work on the car more..

Most of the time the car drives normal, then occasionally the tick over fluctuates between 1000 and 1500 then up to 2000, the engine goes lumpy then the fault clears. Has anyone any ideas what this could be? My nearest Nissan agents are no help at all, they would be if I wanted spotty kids changing the oil on my Micra! Any help or suggestions would be appreciated as I am a new member with a new toy. Thanks Mick

I have neglected my exhaust a bit when it has come to cleaning my car. I sometimes wipe the sponge over it but it makes no difference to the exhaust pipe and makes the sponge really dirty. I know there must be proper methods and proper product to clean and polish up the exhaust and just need a bit of guidance and recomendation from you guys.

what could cause a lack of lowdown torque, if im in fifth gear doing about 35-40 it sounds like it's going to stall, it really has no torque when in any other gear either, like in traffic in second, it really doesnt wwant to start picking up till around 3500 4000, sometime's i have to put it into first gear to get it going again, sometimes it runs great with loads of low down torque and sometimes it runs like shite and even backfires once you have it going and release off the throttle
