Help!! My Cabrio is going well but needs insurance!! Can anyone recommend a decent broker or company that will take the Cabrio on. My present one has stopped doing classic policies!! Tried the usual suspects - Carole Nash (wont do it) Adrian Flux (non classic policy only & EXPENSIVE)!.... Most brokers/companies dont even know about the Cabrio so if it aint on the list.... Thanks in anticipation. Regards Rob.

question for you peeps im trying to source a drain in the car, and believe the fault may lie with the interior bulb light. it was removed when i bought it, put the bulb in, and bulb is always on. At night the door open light on the dash glows too - Question Time (numbered in importance ;)) 1.) Does the zx have a timer relay for the lights (ie close the doors lights on for 10secs) like many new cars? 2.) if 1=yes, where is the relay located 3.) if not - is it likely to be bad earth/sensor on one of the doors

Hi all, getting stuff in for when i pull the engine to do the tubs as i want to do a service as well i know what most items are apart from the air filters, I assumed they were the standard nissan part but someone told me nissan ones were flat pannel filters, what i have is a y piece from the AFM with 2 x cone type filters on, these have no markings on what so ever so have no idea what they are, wether they can be washed and re oiled? does this sound like a normal setup? Thanks

I would like you thoughts on this because we are going to have to act fast to reorganise if this is what everyone wants? There is a hotel nearby for those travelling, members maybe able to help out for those travelling on a saturday?? who knows until we try! So should we do ferrybridge on Sunday 15th July?

Hey guys Just got my car back from Simpsons, they reckon 1500 quid just to get it road worthy. And then more to get it up to scratch. They also reckon that the power quoted by the guy I bought it off is dreaming. I bought off this site cos I thought it would give me some kind of assurance but nope. Front leaking oil big style, front end crashed and bent and repaired to cover it up, hicas dripping fluid where the pipes have just been cut off, suspension stuffed and brakes stuffed. And thats just to get it road worthy, they havent had the engine open yet Im not holding my breath. Am gonna get it fixed I think and rescue the car but just thought Id pu…

Hi I believe that one of the wastegates on my car has been stuck closed as the car is overboosting hughly. Can anyone tell me what parts I need to fix this, and what it involves. ie if I had the new parts, is it a job that any competent mechanic could do or do I need to take it to a specialist. Thanks to anyone who can help. Colin
