How much does it cost (roughly) to have a boost controller supplied+installed and then set up into an economy setting and a sportier setting?

ok i know i've asked about wheels a few times but these ones are special order and allot of dosh. I'm ordering 10's for the rear. but the front i have the choice of either 9's or 8's i've been advised both sizes so confused. The guy is calling me back shortly to confirm order. i'm going for 295/35/18 on the rear and 235/40/18 on the front, hope that's correct also. just to clarify they are wider rear arches. Thanks, thakns, thanks.

Is it getting certain parts coated in a heat resistant metral e.g. ceramic coated etc. It was suggested to do this but is it really worth it and make difference? Sounds pricey to me.

Well finally got them fitted, but i've come to the conclusion the garage may need to take them off and refit them because..... the bottom twists which alters the height, this isn't where you are meant to alter the height but on the spring adjustment. So how do you know what height the bottom twisty bit is meant to be? And how are you meant to get them all the shocks exactly the same height? Oh and the stiffness on the rears this is adjustable by the top of the shock so am i correct in saying if i want to alter this all the boot interior has to come out to get access to the top of the shock?

Hi guys, looks like the time may have finaly come for me to sell my zed, ive toyed with the idea a few times in the past but couldnt bare to get rid, i love it to bits. But with a divorce looming and having to find a decent place to live on my own, running the zed is becoming a big strain on my wallet. Not sure what price to put it on the market for, i know you dont get the money back what you put into modding your motor but i have spent £6k on it(not much compared to some i know). spent it mainly on the looks. Its a '90 j-spec twin turbo manual. 85,000miles, and 11months mot. just had sensible engine mods such as chip, boost jets, apexi air filter, Ziggen d…

only happens in boost so presume it's turbo's. after it hit's the high revs, the sound gradually fades away after a few seconds. This is very hard to describe, but it sounds like a hoover ! slight vibration goes with it...

Have 300km dash in a 90 G plate jap import. The boost gauge and the oil pressure are dead as is the odo and the trip. Any ideas? The boost reads -7 when off and 0 when engine on but nothing else. Greddy boost gauge works fine and car goes like stink so turbos def working. Is this because the ECU has been relaced with an AEM or just cos the dash is stuffed?

Whats the best way of changing my kph to mph without the clock cutting off at 110mph. At the moment its still kph And am I right in thinking that if its still in kph (obviously jap import) they are limited to 110kph which is approx 70 mph. would that mean that my zed would never have gone over 70mph???

 Hi all is the spar that goes across the fronT of the engine bay (has the vin badge, radiator attached etc) part of the chassis? Im hoping not cos I think mines bent only bought the car yesterday The cover for the air intake has had a new hole drilled for it about a cm lower than the original on the right hand side. Once on it all looks very straight. I know its been in a bash otherwise it wouldnt be like that but is this chassis damage? Bit gutted so any advice greatly appreciated
