Is it advisable to run without this fan? Ive started removing all the aircon and just wondered do I really need this?

ok folks this is probably staring me in the face i was fitting a new stereo in2 my 92 300zx and blew a fuse i cant find the fuse board to replace it can any1 help me out pls Cheers

I recently bought this hub isotta anyway i removed the stock wheel, and can't see how to fit this??

I remember seeing a thread on here a while back with a tutorial on how to mod the dashlights - mine are the standard 'white' and I want to convert them to a dark red/crimson - but I don't seem to be able to find it! Can anyone help? I could also do with as much advice as poss as to where I can source the required tools/parts and any other info you think might be useful! In addition, is it possible to do the same to the switches on the doors? I hope that this will be my first of many mods!! Thanks all!

My driver's side window has stopped working!! It was quite tempremental before but over time has deteriorated and now has stopped working altogether! Which proves quite annoying when driving in and out of multi stories and round to the local drive-thru (I love my KFC!). Does anyone have a tutorial/tips for how to fix this? The passenger side could also do with looking at as it doesn't seem to close all the way properly and so seeps water when it rains... Thanks!

just wondering if i had brake pads that were low would it cause the anti lock light to come on? cheers Nick

I currently own a ford mondeo, ford granada V6, Toyota Avensis and my pride and joy is a Nissan Pulsar GTI-R. I am thinking of flogging the Mondy and Granada and have been offered what I think is a steal but due to the cheap price I want some advice. I have been offered a 90, red, Twin Turbo V6 MANUAL 300ZX. Hi all Any one got any ideas? Turns over but doesnt fire up. AA came and took a look and said that there was no switching to the injectors or coils. Reckon its the ECU but mines got an AEM in it so theres no way of testing if its stuffed. Relays all working ok, immobiliser bypassed but still nothing. All I did was disconnect the battery and reconnect it??? F^&%^%CKING CAR!!! Not a happy bunny

Can anyone advise me on what front brake pads to fit on my n\a after the ebc red stuff that i fitted 6 months ago are down to less than 1\2 a mm and giving me a fail for the mot. :cry:

after being away at the garrage for 4 weeks i decided to fix it myself.. went to scrap yard got all the boost hoses vaccum pipes a couple of valves, and the potensiometer. all for 20 quid ... bargin all the pipes were split badly ..fitted the potentiometer and started her up....FIXED took a while for the idle to settle but she goes like $%*( faster than when i bought it ... who need garages ....feel pretty good with myself next job ....DUMP VALVES......... cant wait then push button start.. thanks all for all the advice .....im of to find some scoobies ...see ya

jesus christ I have had these cars befor my last one was tuned up to F**k and i drove it like a mad man but the fuel consumtion was nothing like this one!! Theres some shops about a 3 minute walk away from me but coz i find ant excuse to go out in my zed as I havnt had it that long i went in it. I put 15 pound of fuel in the car yesterday went up to just over the first white line drove to the shop and back and its half way betwwen the empty mark and the first white line!!!! There was half a tank in it when i got it it never went off the driveway, just by starting it up several times and shifting the cars about it used the petrol with a week. What do I do, now i…

Have come across a problem. After changing the down pipes and middle section of exhaust and removing the AIV's the car wont boost correctly. Have had it on consult and it came up with a o2 sensor fault so have replaced that yet it still wont boost correctly. had the car running at 1.25bar and now it wont go past 0.9bar. When it gets there it just starts misfiring. Have changed the plugs, checked all the connectors, tried another PTU but wasnt that, doubnle checked the boost pipes against another zed and there correct. Anyone had this problem b4?? need some help please.

The guy who's bought the zed has just come up to look at the car. He's now quibbling about the fact the aircon doesn't work (it's missing the condenser and the belts which is why it was never included on the spec list and he assumed it was working) He's also worried the colour is going to be hard to match and he'll ring me monday after he's spoken to his bodywork man, it says in the listing that the colour is a one off so that's his fault. Had my Zed a week, ran fine, i was out in it last night, just gone to get it of the drive and its DEAD ! Alarm wont activate/deactivate, open doors with the key, does not even turn over, no lights etc, cant beleive the battery would have completely died over night ?? Any ideas ? i aint got a battery charger or multimeter so shall i just splash out on a new battery or is there anything else i should try ? Cheers

Hi , been having a little problem with my wagon. Hard to explain this one. When slowing down abruptly , the cars seems to stall..ie the revs drop down to 0 then stalls ( losing power steering etc ) with a little clutch action, it then brings revs back up etc ( like jump starting etc ) and drives normally any ideas? Thanks

I know a lot of people ask what speakers to get and as I have just picked my car up from the audio shop I thought I would write a short review and hopefully others can add their thoughts on what they have fitted for people to compare. I have had a set of DLS Ultimate UP6 6.5" component speakers and a DLS A2 amp fitted and the clarity and sweetness of the music is awesome, its not a setup made with bass in mind although this is not lacking and is more for clartity and a more natural sound.
