ok, this might have been posted before but i'm after a bit of info! I posted a thread a while ago about a shudder when i brake. I got some replies about worn tension rod bushes. But, me being nieve, i thought it was warped discs and spent £450 on new discs and pads! Anyway, i've now decided to go in and change the bushes but i thought i'd uprate the suspension at the same time! My questions are: Has anyone had any experience of the KYB AGX Adjustable struts that smithy sells? Does anyone know where i can get a decent set of lowering springs to go with them? Cheers

is it becoming the norm now to break zeds instead of selling them as a whole car? I only ask as i am hoping to sell my bmw in the next couple of weeks and i am looking to get another zx as i have been without one for a couple of years now, and looking on here there seems to be more and more nice cars being advirtised for breaking, one has gone on today being advirtised by Zee.It wont be long untill they become kit cars at the rate!! :nono:

Hi guys I'm new on this site - So HELLO :-) I've had a big list of cars all over 200+bhp and some over 300-400 so i'm a lover of power. What sort of reliability does the Z have and what sort of MPG is it giving out?? Plus what are the common problems you all come accross so i can look out for them when buying one?? I've been struggling between buying the 300ZX / RX7 / 3000GT - what do you personally think of these other cars and the differences??

Hi folks We're doing a Buyers Guide on the 300ZX (Z32) but as I'm going on leave soon, time is tight!! Any advice on what to look for appreciated (have checked out the info on this and other sites) for instance, do they rust? Are electrics an issue? What identifies a dodgy engine? If anyone near Peterborough has a Z32 that we could use for images AND if you are available during the week THIS WEEK then please let me know! Email on my profile or post a response here. Thanks! Ian

Hey folks, yet another problem :( Went to start the car this morn, no joy on first try  so gave it a second go this time with some accelerator. Got it going, but very rough and had to keep the revs up, once I lifted my foot off the accelerator it died :( Over the weekend I by-passed my heater matrix and replaced 2 small fuel hoses that I noticed were leaking, but it ran fine after doing this, until this morn  Any ideas? Thanks David

I've had an idea for those who would like to learn to Drift? The Drifting Academy Drift do day courses and i believe you can take your own car as the zed fits all the spec they need. If there is enough interest i will find out more info :D

my auto box isnt shifting properly. it will not shift smoothly through the gears. if i keep my foot down the rpms just go up and it just stays in gear. but if i lift my foot off completely and let the rpms go down it will shift up and i can resume driving. Just been told by someone that it could have a sticking governor. How do i mend this? Thanx

One month in from buying my zed and my first problem has occured (I feel part of the forum now :) ). I went for a meal yesterday, 10miles away from my house, didnt particularly drive hard, parked up outside the restaurant and went in. Came back to the car, turned the key and it wouldnt start (It normally starts first time). I gave it a break of a few minutes then tried again whilst pumping the gas and it started after about 5seconds of ignition. However, this morning it started first time just with an idle that jumped from 1.5k down to .5k and back up again. What could be causing this? Is it a fuelling problem? I am still under warranty so would ideally like to …

I have had a good chat with Leon at Alunox about a group buy on stainless custom exhausts for swb and lwb. These exhausts would be made to a very high spec to include, sound to owners spec, removable baffles form quite to loud. You can have a choice of Twin Exit or Single Exit. Prices on the twins to follow shortly but they will be a fair bit cheaper than the single exit. Single Exit : £670 individual price £580 for 5 or more £540 for 10 (may be a tiny bit less but will confirm) A few lucky people on the forum have had these exhausts and will testify to their quality. I would like to know who is interested either a maybe or a def, i wil…
