jesus christ I have had these cars befor my last one was tuned up to F**k and i drove it like a mad man but the fuel consumtion was nothing like this one!! Theres some shops about a 3 minute walk away from me but coz i find ant excuse to go out in my zed as I havnt had it that long i went in it. I put 15 pound of fuel in the car yesterday went up to just over the first white line drove to the shop and back and its half way betwwen the empty mark and the first white line!!!! There was half a tank in it when i got it it never went off the driveway, just by starting it up several times and shifting the cars about it used the petrol with a week. What do I do, now i…

Have come across a problem. After changing the down pipes and middle section of exhaust and removing the AIV's the car wont boost correctly. Have had it on consult and it came up with a o2 sensor fault so have replaced that yet it still wont boost correctly. had the car running at 1.25bar and now it wont go past 0.9bar. When it gets there it just starts misfiring. Have changed the plugs, checked all the connectors, tried another PTU but wasnt that, doubnle checked the boost pipes against another zed and there correct. Anyone had this problem b4?? need some help please.

The guy who's bought the zed has just come up to look at the car. He's now quibbling about the fact the aircon doesn't work (it's missing the condenser and the belts which is why it was never included on the spec list and he assumed it was working) He's also worried the colour is going to be hard to match and he'll ring me monday after he's spoken to his bodywork man, it says in the listing that the colour is a one off so that's his fault. Had my Zed a week, ran fine, i was out in it last night, just gone to get it of the drive and its DEAD ! Alarm wont activate/deactivate, open doors with the key, does not even turn over, no lights etc, cant beleive the battery would have completely died over night ?? Any ideas ? i aint got a battery charger or multimeter so shall i just splash out on a new battery or is there anything else i should try ? Cheers

Hi , been having a little problem with my wagon. Hard to explain this one. When slowing down abruptly , the cars seems to stall..ie the revs drop down to 0 then stalls ( losing power steering etc ) with a little clutch action, it then brings revs back up etc ( like jump starting etc ) and drives normally any ideas? Thanks

As above J spec will the engine from a manual, drop strait into an auto please?

I know a lot of people ask what speakers to get and as I have just picked my car up from the audio shop I thought I would write a short review and hopefully others can add their thoughts on what they have fitted for people to compare. Help!! My Cabrio is going well but needs insurance!! Can anyone recommend a decent broker or company that will take the Cabrio on. My present one has stopped doing classic policies!! Tried the usual suspects - Carole Nash (wont do it) Adrian Flux (non classic policy only & EXPENSIVE)!.... Most brokers/companies dont even know about the Cabrio so if it aint on the list.... just recently my anti lock light came on and now my brakes are playing up. i started the engine and theres a noise in the boot (well it sounds like its coming from the boot) so i start to pull out this drive and the brakes go soft and i hear that noise again, then i take my foot off the brake and it goes back to normal again until i put my foot on the brake again. its ok when im driving down the road and i use the brakes. (the noise sounds like an arial going up) please help someone cheers Nick

question for you peeps im trying to source a drain in the car, and believe the fault may lie with the interior bulb light. it was removed when i bought it, put the bulb in, and bulb is always on. At night the door open light on the dash glows too - Question Time (numbered in importance ;)) 1.) Does the zx have a timer relay for the lights (ie close the doors lights on for 10secs) like many new cars? 2.) if 1=yes, where is the relay located 3.) if not - is it likely to be bad earth/sensor on one of the doors

Can I take the head off with the engine still in the car or is it best to take it out? Also apart from the bolts up the centre does anything else hold the inlet manifold on? Taken them out and the various hoses etc but still won't move????

Hi all, getting stuff in for when i pull the engine to do the tubs as i want to do a service as well i know what most items are apart from the air filters, I assumed they were the standard nissan part but someone told me nissan ones were flat pannel filters, what i have is a y piece from the AFM with 2 x cone type filters on, these have no markings on what so ever so have no idea what they are, wether they can be washed and re oiled? does this sound like a normal setup? Just came home this morning...drove from dublin to belfast, and stranraer to newcastle on 30th June and back today and between those times i never saw one zed on the road...so disappointed that i didnt see anything!

well finally got car back on the road yesterday after getting the new alternator fitted, when tonight a woman decided it would be a good idea to cut the corner and drive into my front wing and wheel then had the cheek to say it wasnt her fault will post up some pics soon. steering damaged, wing, front bumper broken too.
