I've only ever heard of a couple of these engines, probably because of the silly price.

One of the guys in Belgium is fitting a JUN engine.

i had heard that hyper sports were building a 300zx with a full jun stroker and 20g turbos but not heard much else since???

Not sure that people use it for 200cc increase, the main beneift is that it reduces the stain on the bottom end when increasing the rev range of the engine.

aye nothing worse than a stained bottom end :rofl: :rofl:

i agree but to be honest its alot of money to spend when you can gain all the power needed from a stock cranks, i can only see it being viable if you have unlimited pockets or you really want your zed to rev to 9000 revs so i suppose if its a top speed machine your after then this maybe worth while!!

200+++ mph anyone :D

There's more to it than that. The stock vg30 has a pretty much perfect equal stroke/bore ratio giving good torque and also good power. Making the bore out of square has its trade-offs. I know the pistons aren't square, thats not what I meant LOL :p

Nend had one a full Jun Engine for sale las summer. Complete with Jun cams, valves, lifters and springs. He was asking £11K.

I said no thanks.

It's either Nend or one of his mates that's putting it into another car :)

Really looking forward to another trip round Europe with those guys :bow:
