Had a read about someone fitting a Skyline spoiler on their Z, well i found one of the twin blade spoilers on ebay.... Would this fit + suit a z? Cheers :D Ethan

Hi My previous Alpine headunit would retract the electric aerial when you changed the source on the headunit to either CD or Minidisc. If you then changed it to to tuner, the aerial came up again. I have had a new Alpine headunit fitted and this functionality now does not happen. The aerial is always up when the headunit is on. Is this the same for everybody? Would love to get it back how it was, as I very rarely have the radio on so would be great if the aerial was down when the CD's are on. Thanks to anyone who can advise.

can anybody tell me what values I need to check for on the connection to the coil pack as I still have no spark on one off the cylinders have changed the following PTU (to a known working one) plugs broken coilpack connector (the cylinder thats got no spark) just wanting to know what the 3 values are so can check against the other coilpacks cheers guys

Hi Guys just bought a 300zx import, so in a steep learning curve. Unfortunately got the car home and now notice the rads gone leaking from the bottom even when standing cold. Private sale so no comeback there. I need to get it fixed, being checking some threads out, its an auto tt import 94 not sure if anyone could guide me through who and where to take the car to. Im in york is there anyone close by dont want to drive the car far given the problem.

Is the TC the same one for a TT and N/A?

Had a quick search on this one, but doesn't give me much info on my symptoms. Now, the car runs fine usually, but occasionally, I'll have a hesitation on full boost somewhere between 3 and 5rpm. Now, it always clears. IE, it boosts, then holds back and at a certain point will come on full boost again. Doesn't always do it either. Have checked for possible boost leaks and all looks ok. Si

Well finally got my wheels back, and have taken her for a drive for the 1st time! and she seems ok, although im not 100% sure i have the over heating problem... all take her for a good long drive tomorrow, i did about 10 miles today and she seemed ok! The power cylinder on my zed's HICAS is leaking :eek: It looks as though a previous owner or mechanic has caked it in grease or something similar to stop it leaking. Its leaking from where the pipes attach. Any ideas of where I can source a replacement power cylinder for the HICAS or should I get a HICAS eliminator?? Thanks in advance :)

put some clear side repeaters in didnt work at first but turns out just the bulb not making proper contact, anyways now me alarm wont work, really quite annoying. The two wires on the left hand side one is black and the other green n balck, it appears the green and black is live, the roght hand side is one balck and one green n yellow, which i would presume was an earth, but it has to be connected to the bulb, for the bulb to function, does this wire earth anywhere else, coz i pulled it up abit through the hole and now alarm is fooked, sorry if this sounds dumb. but not very good at electrics yet. any ideas advice greatfully welcomed, oh the alarm is an avital of some kin…

Ok, it's MOT time and i think it'll fail on the emissions, because of the overfuelling...... After learning that the previous owner run a conzult and came bk with code 55 (which i believe is no faults), he thinks that the problem could lie with the o2 sensor(s) (not too sure on if there is one or two). I was just wondering if anyone knows where i could get my hands on them, preferably without going straight to nissan!!! Cheers for any help!!!

The misses got so fed up she went back to bed...whoops! :rolleyes: Anyway, despite reading loads, there are still a few questions that I have. What are the differences between the UK cars and the Jap imports? I understand that the uk cars suffer from more rust, have more power but are cheaper to insure? Is that right? Are there any other differences? I'm sure I'd want a TT manual, not to fussed on the colours, but is there any more info on whats good or not good to look at buying? …
