  1. Hi everyone there; I´ve been Quoting to buy a Z through some auction dealers and on my process the first thing I find out when I come to getting some information on registering the car in my country is; first of all if the car has been brought from Japan or the United States it requires a certificate of emissions E4. Since Japan and U.S.A has a different emissions standard, this new law came out this year on all European community under something called the" Kyoto Treaty" in order to clean up pollution on air...I have also checked with other european members technical vehicle inspections and they have told me the same thing; new law requires all cars that want to be …

This car is well known in the SW to club members and is now in my ownership. As with all new toys you want to change them to reflect your own personallity. Initially I did not like the 3 spoke Advan wheels but they have started to grow on me, and besides they all have good rubber on, for now. When their a bit worn I may decide to change both the wheels and the tyres, undecided as yet. The main bone of contention is the rear spoiler which is......huge, and totally blocks the rear view which coupled with the very stylish mirrors which I can also see feckall out of makes driving quick very tenuous as you cannot spot the old bill until he is right on your tail. The exhaust is…

Drove all the way from Karen's place to my work this morning (43 miles), in all the bloody horrible weather (it was P'ing it down) with no problems whats-so-ever! Come out of work this afternoon and find my rear near side tyre flat! And I mean completely  Dropped it off with the tyre place, went back to see how they were getting on with it, to find that there is a split in the tyre, and it's not repairable!! I only bought my two rears for my MOT last December  *****X!!! I'm currently skint until pay day, which is next Friday, and the credit card is maxed out, so can't even use that. So it's going to be at least two weeks before I can get a new t…

One of the guys in Texas I chat to on 32ZC has just fitted leather seat coverings from these guys.... http://www.leatherseats.com Very good quality by the looks of things. You can order online and to your exact specification, plus order large sections of leather for trimming door cards, dash and whatever... very very good value too, site has all the pricings and everything you need, plus other options and gaitors etc. Here's his seats fitted... I'll probably be ordering from them towards the end of the summer! :hyper:

our cars have variable valve timing on the exhaust cam dont they? I dont suppose it makes alot of difference when you throw turbos into the equation but do the solenoids often fail on these systems and if so would there be a noticable performance drop off. He can the VVT be checked to see if it is working properly?

Can anyone please give advice on whether to re-build my engine or to replace it with a used unit, the big ends have now given up and it has suffered from a top end rattle, ( guessing lifter prob) for a while what would be the best route to go? not in a hurry to get it back on the road as yet, also what should I expect to pay for crank re-grind, bearings rebuild etc? I will be doing the re-build myself to save on costs, any help is appreciated.
