General Discussions - 300ZX Related

In the next week or so I am having engine out ,upgrade turbos fitted along with sep wastegates,testpipes.The release bearing on my clutch is whining and I expect that I must install a new more powerful clutch.Any advice gratefully appreciated.I don't intend to drag or drift with the new setup(Honestly :D )just need this to work well to say 400bhp.Oh...and I need it to be cheap as possible

just orded 2x toyo proxes t1r 235/40/17 fitted,new steel valves,ballanced for £224 fully inclusive of vat. is this price good or bad :confused:

I am absolutely delighted! A very big thank you to Jeff, Jamie and Lynda at ZedWorld for their superb service and hospitality. Jeff and Jamie replaced both of the rear lower HICAS bushes yesterday and sent the car for it's MOT. Passed with flying colours and not even as much as an advisory! Have been having some problems with the car lately: flat battery after holidays, funny gearbox changes, sloppy rearend (car not mine ...) and a leaking powersteering hose (thanks for pointing that out Jamie). Am really pleased the old girl passed! That's six passes in the last six years I've owned her ... not bad for what is now a 17 year old car. And to top it all…

Have been toying with the idea of a wide arch kit, but also like the look of rolled arches.....mmmm like both n cant decide. Need to make a decision pretty quick one way or the other as my new wheels dont fit under the arches and they keep catching on the tyres over harsh bumps :headvswal Could someone plz put some pics up n give any help in letting me know whats involved in doing either way. If i go the wide kit what hidden extras would need to be bought to complete the job?, i know the filler cap and fuel pipe has to be moved but is there a kit i can get to do this????. :confused: Help pleeeaaaseee........ About to put Z in for MOT this afternoon, but i've got a 'Light' warning light come on the dash whenever i press the brake pedal, its not the bulbs since they all work fine, its not the rear-fog light since that works ok as well, its not the rear night lights cos they seem fine also..... i'm lost as to how to fix this other than some black tape over the warning light??? any ideas? :confused:

Hi all,might be a silly question,but just wondering what the pipes are going to the exhaust system on a 90 jap spec N/A? I thinks its the EGR system? Two thin pipes,one each side of car,going into the centre sections! Thanks in advance. :D

Hi guys, Ive got a Jap Z which was converted from Auto to Manual over in Japan.. Its got a whining noise when going up through the gears and it sounds awsome, Even though it sounds good im just abit worried that their might be somekind of fault causing this noise. Ive had the car for a while now, and its been serviced numerous times at Zedworld and everything seems ok. Any ideas as to whats causing the whine? It sounds just like this: Regards Rob

Not been on for a while but does anyone know where the Zen Garage is.....Mark are you still operating i needed to ask a question about my RPS clutch, not a real problem but it's making a whirring noise,almost sounds like the tubs winding up (but it's not that) and when stationary and i engage the clutch the noise sounds like it's the tubs winding down..... Hi, Car running nicely, then just cut out whilst doing about 30mph. On turn of key, car would start, but could not get the rev's up, then would cut out again. Luckely I was only yards from the house so pushed it home. this morning tried to start her, engine kicking over but just wont start. Does this sound like a PTU problem ? All advice greatly appreciated.
