i just need a point in the right direction, the hose that comes of my AIV has come off (the top one) it T's off, one end goes down but i dont know where the other is ment to go to, the cars a mannual tt uk, if it makes a difference, anybody help? and while im on the subject whats does it do? cheers in advance

after nearly 7 months my zed is finally back on the, now wet road! wohoo! :smash: :cool: :hyper: with her new rebuilt engine she now pulls like a train and purrs like a lion, an absolute dream to drive! cant wait to get her properly run in so i can pump the boost up and really get the wisecos working hard :) i also bought her some 99 spec rears, a quad exit exhaust to replace the silly kakimoto single exit thing, new steering wheel so i can throw the 'rather interesting' wooden number as far as possible! shes got a full carputer setup with an 8" screen that i am fabricating in the din slots... all in all.. Hello have a set of WORK EQUIP alloys an unfortunatley have curbed the front passenger side chrome lip? its a 245/40/18 an im havin real trouble findin some were to replace the chrome section,if worse come to worse will have to buy a new wheel but cant seem to find then in this size anywere if u could help with info would be really grateful thanks PageyZ

Hello, I seem to have lost reverse gear on my manual Z32 gearbox? No matter how hard I try to get it in gear, it won't go. It was driving fine before hand in all gears, no knocks or bangs :confused: Anybody got any ideas please?

Are R32 springs the same as the Z32 spring. I know all the camber alinement gear is the same and I've seen aftermarket spring kits saying Z32 and R32 fitment. Want to be sure though.

I have 2 rear panels spare, both have odd fractures in, sometime they show bad other times you just cannot see it at all ? Anyone else had this ?

Just having a fag break at work & was thinking about pulling another engine... I'm possibly going to put a new loom in when it goes back in, and it will be a LHD loom, so will have a lot of slack in it... any thought on putting a new loom connection in the engine bay (battery's removed, so there's space there) so that if (when!!) it comes out again the engine could be lifted with the loom in place, by disconnecting here. Kind of thinking out loud tbh, may be a stupid idea!! Obviously it's need a waterproof housing of some description, but what do ya reckon??

Just wondering if anyone has had or used Nippart TT discs and if they have had any problems with warpage.

I replaced my drivers side headlight a while ago. It's MOT day today. I think the light I replaced is pointing a little low - any idea how to adjust it so the beam is a little higher on that side? Cheers folks :nana2:

Fitted a cooler, droped the sump, flushed strainer and fitted new gasket. Strainer was very clean anyway. Not much on the sump magnet either. Filled the rad & rubber pipes with atf first then connected & clamped the pipes to the rad, filled back up through the dipstick with the same amount that came out. Ran fine before. Now I took it out last night after and levels seem fine, smooth changes, kicks down great - no problem. Took it out this morning and got stuck in traffic, now seems that when I slow down gently from about 15mph to 0 it lurches just before I stop, almost like I've droped a gear and lightly blipped the throttle! I read a lot of people saying to replace the suspension bushes makes a massive difference to the cars handling? How much does it cost to replace all of the bushes?

hi im think of looking at a 300zx tt and the guy tells me there is a clunking noise not to loud when you go over a bump??? he thinks its a bush!!!! its got aftermarket suspension and he said poss a bush on that??? i think something else. what do you think??? beware or not!!!!!!!. stu.

I have this clicking sound from heating system, it sounds like a flap is jammed and can't close (or open), there is a clicking about every 6-10 secs also a noise like a spring pinging and another noise like a solenoid is attempting to move something! I think it's pretty obviously a flap that is stuck, but does anyone know what to do to fix the problem. It only happens when you set the temp to below about 19c. When it starts the noises, if you then up the temp to about 24c, it stops and you can lower it to 19 or 20 without it starting again, but when you try to go to 18 or below it starts every time, whatever you have any of the other buttons set to. Where is the Climate sensor in our cars? is it the lil fan thingy above our heads? Basicly i've been asked Do you have a climate sensor in passenger side air vent panel ontop of the dash? This is from a American company so chances are theirs could be different.

Ok, i've done the search thing-seems to be a million answers.but.... I parked the zx up on tuesday night, quietly thanked it for getting me home safely, in the worst rain i had seen in ages. I even thought 'ooh, nice.still running smooth' Get in it today + Its missfiring Straight away constant rough running, nearly undriveable. :confused: Sooo. I've got two hrs to fix it, before a long journey tomorrow. any ideas? Its uk, all stock air filters,bodywork,everything!

Hey all I recently bought some Z32 Front Calipers that came without shims. Anyone got any suggestions where I can get them? preferably online? dont get a chance to get into a mmotor factors when there open due to work. cheers John

My car has faulty 02 sensors, and a misfire in 4th gear, could these be related? Maybe the car is running lean and blowing the spark out...?...? What do you reckon? cheers guys

Hi my 300zx has developed a problem when the car eventually starts it runs for around 20 minutes hen jus cuts out( like the ignition has been turned off) the weird thing is no management light comes on, so im guessing that its a problem with a sensor like the air flow meter, map sensor etc and it appears the problem occurs when the engine is warm, so i was wondering if any one knows of any common problems or a way in which i can diagnose the fault as im guessing no fault codes will be generated as the management light doesn’t come on, any help would be greatly appriciated.
