on my way 2 work this morning and noticed water temp was very high got 2 work checked water level it was VERY LOW! couldnt see any leaks so filled water up . left it to tick over and noticed water vapour coming from both exhausts. it doesnt clear up. checked water level again and needed another top up. still got water vapour from exhausts. checked oil level seems to be no problems with oil level or colour. find it very strange. engine running great and boost seems fine. havent noticed any performance difference at all. anybody got a clue?

Hi everybody, My side lights (front positioning lights) have packed in. I have checked the fuse in the footwell and that looks good. All other lights are working fine. Is there a relay under the bonnet or any other fuses for the side lights that I need to check? What should I be looking for?

HI people need a bit ov help and advice. my zed has a manual boost controller on one of the cheap ones on ebay. I would like to take it of as no one has said a good thing to say about them(come on the car when i bought it). It has some pipes that have been blocked of with screws has anyone got any pics ov where the pipes are ment to go any help will be great thanks :confused:

Just taken delivery of my new zed today - its on a K reg j spec manual LWB TT in gun metal grey. but here is the odd thing. It has all the things i would expect in a later series 2 car... Leather interior with electric driver and passenger seats Alcantara side panels Drivers Air-bag Cruise control with the stalk control not steering wheel control Air-con where you can actually change the direction of the air... I would like to disconnect my battery so I can reset the ECU. What I want to know is. Do I have to physically remove the connection from the battery or could I just pull the battery fuse that is in the Small fuse box in the top lefthand side of the engine bay? 300zx TT auto - Jap Import

I removed my plenum and bits to change my knock censor, to do this you have to take the cam belt off to get the idle pully off, now ive never timed a car before let alone a v6, i can see all the marks i need to line up on the cams and bottom pulley, but a mate said make sure piston no 1 is top dead center on the combustion stroke before putting the belt on, is there any way of knowing what stroke that is without taking the plenum etc and rocker covers off to see the cams? Ive been told the lobes on the cams have to be pointing up on first cylinder (front one drivers side), is this right? and what way do they need to be facing on second cylinder? (front one passenge…

95TT J spec. Driving along quite happily in the city with dipped beam on. Go somewhere with less light so on come the high beams. However someone is coming towards me so the high beams go off for a sec. The problem is that I can do this for a while, turning the high beams off and then back on - about 5 changes in a 10 minute period. But then I start getting a weird delay. High beam off, then back on after a few seconds except they don't come on. Takes about 10-20 seconds for the light as if they are 'charging' back up. Now if I leave the stalk on high beam and wait for the light the dipped beam is dimmer than if I just have the stalk not kept on high beam. …

Hi guys (& girls), I need to ask a favour. I have recently found that my speedo dial has broken and all of the dials came in a pack that contained both non-turbo and turbo dials. I would like to appeal to any of you that bought a set for your NA and do not need the turbo speedo dial. I am willing to pay for it, but this route will be a lot easier than getting a replacement from the manufacturers, as they only produce the full kit. hi everyone, having now drove my Z round for a while I have noticed a couple of things, could anyone please advise me. 1 - I sometimes get quite a loud vibration which starts at around 30 and dosent go away at any speed, sometimes its fine, any ideas? 2 - on way back from leeds yesterday I noticed the oil pressure was reading just above 0 going upto about 30 when i revved, I stopped checked the oil level which was half way between min and max, started car and still got same oil pressure readings, had some oil in car so filled it up to max mark on dipstick and hey presto, normal oil pressure readings, i.e. just under 30 cruising and on tickover, and upto 60 when …
