Hi people just not getting any better first turbos then headgaskets and now a misfire need help fast. Only had the car 4 months and its spent 3.1/2 months in the garage not a happy bunny. The mech that is doing the headgaskets has put it back together and it has now got a mis on the front drivers side cylinder. He has swoped the coil packs around and no change. The heads got skimmed and pressure tested and were fine the mech has assured me that he has put her back together proper but still has a mis has any had this before as money is running short and im hoping its a simple fix. As above I have just converted my offside reverse light to a fog light, i put some red lighting gel in the lenses and tested them up against the sun light :hyper: yep we had some sun today lol, and it works well, my only concern is that it will be bright enough. It has a 21w bulb which is standard for a fog, has anyone else done this and if so did it pass the MOT ok as mine is due at the end of this month. cheers Graham

I have just noticed my new zeds wing mirrors automatically fold in when I take the key out of the ignition. This is my 5th zed and none of them ever did that before.... Was it an option at any stage? My car does seem to have every available extra.

My zed is starting, reving ereaticly spluttering then dieing, ive just had the plenum etc off to do the knock censor and now she has problems, im after another owner that could come round so i can check their engine against mine to see if ive got anything in the wrong place, its a tt, but an n/a might hold the answer also, If your up for it please call me 07787576472, thanks

I've just put the engine back in the Z and I am in the process of putting the prop/exhaust etc back on. I am trying to bolt the torque converter and fly wheel back together but when I turn the engine to move the flywheel the torque converter moves as well, how do I stop it turning so I can line up the bolt holes??

Hi Anyone tried using the Ultimate 102 fuel yet ? What results in a TT ?

Anyone got one of these?? it looks pretty straight forward to fit apart from one bit which is 2 lil pins, i'm assuming they stich in the bottom and they are for turning off the indicators, but there are several holes they could fit in and i'm not sure if that is what they are for.

Hey all, My car's been standing for about 3 wks and when i went to move her last night brake peddle went straight to the floor :shock: The brakes did engage but only when peddle hit the floor :smash: I checked the fluid and it was low but still above the minimum in the reservoir, so toppped it up and pumped the pedal but still nothing and fluid level has dropped.......No visible signs of leaking fluid. :confused: Now this has happened once before, last year, same circumstances on returning from holiday but after a bit of driving and lots of pumping of the pedal then brakes did return and continued to work until last night. just back from dublin where myself and Trish(tulip) went to see this car as i wanted some interior bits from it. we were a bit shocked to find it was a manual slicktop n/a badly neglected now being broken. no crash damage or anything, just a coil and propshaft problem a few months back . since then it has been hacked and pulled at and in a very sorry state. seems to have been hoisted by a forklift or something as both sides of the roof are badly dented in exactly the same place. Been sprayed a very weird colour too, was originally grey. we thought it an awful shame to see a rare z like this broken up

My cars a 91 jdm model and has a matal fairlady z badge just below the n/s repeater.ive only ever seen this on one other car in exactly the same place.Does anybody else have one or can anybody shed any light on these.are they rare or perhaps most people have removed them??

Hi,this is my first thread so im hoping someone can help. When I start my jap spec 96 NA fairlady a squealing noise comes from under the bonnet . Some times it is just for a second but more often it is for longer. Sometimes it does'nt do it at all. The squealing stops when the fan starts up. I have had the belts replaced and adjusted but its starting to drive me mad now. Anyone had the same problem?

hi all, just bought my first 300zx, 91 plate non turbo, auto, I've noticed the water temp gauge hasn't moved whats the likley cause of this? any halp b appreciated and my speedo has had mph convertion but its.... well like its retarded!!! its slow to climb and drop no matter how hard i brake or accel and doesn't seem accurate again any help would be great?? .....As you may have noticed I was selling my car. I had a bit of interest but due to the drop in popularity nothing fruitful. Anyway its been parked up for the last month or so and today I put some petrol in it started it up and took it round the block. Getting it ready for MOT. (on my private road of course). God, I'm really glad it didnt sell. :D
