Just the facts...... She wont start She will turn over She would initially fire but die instantly, now she wont fire at all There is fuel at the outlet from the fuel filter I've fitted a replacement CAS (as suggested as it was extremely hot) Further info (if needed)... I took her for a 45 mile run last Friday late afternoon, parked her, and then when I came back to her she wouldn't start. Anyone have or know where I can get a spare Float Switch or or power steering cap with switch from as mine is buggered! Fluid is topped right up and the HICAS light won't go out! On further inspection if you move the float the HICAS light flickers but won't go out perminantly! Many Thanks! :bow:

Going to get my windows tinted but can't deicide what to go for. I was thinking about keeping the front sides ligal (barely tinted at all) would like them darker but i don't want any hassle of fines. The rear side either same as front or slightly darker, the rear limo black so no one can see in my boot and the targas same as the rear side or limo. What has everyone else gone for, pics very welcome :D

Hello all! just jacked my 91 uk tt up to drain auto box oil out but there is no drain plug? how do I drain oil out? Im looking at this page http://zhome.com/ZCMnL/PICS/autoTrannyOilChange/autoTrannyOilChange.html which says the turbo has drain plug but mine hasent?? can anyone help?? Cheers!!!

My Z has started smoking from the drivers side exhaust! it is a white smoke and there is also water in the tail pipe, the exhause also goes white frome time to time! could this be the turbo? or is it more likely to be a head gasket ? any help apreciated !

I loved my old uk auto tt... i was never impressed with the power of it but i just used to love driving it or looking at it! i sold that to buy myself a manual tt for a bit more fun... a major difference was picked up immediately with the power delivery and it felt much faster and more 'driver involving'... now i have myself a manual tt with a rebuild engine and my word!!! this thing is lethal, lethal i say! :cool: :D

i'm a new owner of a 300zx, usually had euro hot hatches. this is my 1st jap sports car. dont know much about my car other than its lowered, some sort of sports exhaust and induction kit but i've started chasing ferrari's, is this normal behaviour?

i've just had a fuel pipe replaced on my car as it was split and leaking fuel, now there is a major water leak but only when the engine is hot, it is coming from the front of the engine at the bottom, its losing about a litre a day. does anyone have any suggestions to what needs to be done? also does anyone know any nissan or zx specialists in the south wales area as my HICAS light is intermitently. cheers.

When you remove the the trim panels either side of the rear seat there are two square shaped holes roughly 5x4 cut into the shell. there seems to be a decent bit of room behind them for acoustics. I was finishing my retrim yesterday and starting to get ideas of what type of speaker i could fit in there. Has anyone tried it and with what results? Neither the front nor rear stock speaker setup provide decent bass, no matter what type of speakers you put in. I was thinking of putting bass speakers in there, so i wouldnt have to resort to cutting the trim panels . i've got decent components in the front, jbl's in the rear and a very good pioneer head unit. looking at a burnt orange tt on ebay does it belong to one of our members???

Yesterday the car was fine. No warning lights on etc etc. Today I gave the insides a good vacuum and a gentle wash. Went to go out for a spin about an hour ago but couldn't because: I disarm with the remote. Put key in the ignition, and turn it 2 clicks. ABS light stays on. Turn key again to start engine and bloody alarm goes off instead!!! Now too theres a loud buzzing noise too from either behind the engine or under the battery or behind the nearside wheel arch liner. Somewhere around that area! :confused: :confused: :confused: Any ideas ?

I thought I'd seen it before, but tonight confirmed it on Sky+, one of the Mythbusters (or their staff) drives a burgundy 300ZX. It can be seen when they do their experiments outside in their car park. The uber-geeks have good taste ;)

hi everyone Finally jumped in the deep end and bought a 1992 300zx tt. Completely standard fresh import. Unfortunatly I have a slight missfire on idle and quite bad at around 2500 revs, it also stalls sometimes when cold. Read the forums and suspect its the connections on the coil packs, injectors or a faulty ptu. I,ve downloaded a works manual, lifted the bonnet up and then quickly closed it again. No way am I touching anything under there lol. So my question is... I live just north of Hull in East Yorkshire. Could anyone reccommend where I should go to get it look at and properly looked after.

It's about three years old. It was working fine until yesterday. The radio's still ok. If I try and put a CD in it beeps and flashes up 'RESET' and won't take the CD. Any ideas how to sort it? Thanks folks! :duffer:

Hi I'm changing the tail gate on my red SWB NA this weekend and just wondered if there are any help full tips for removal and refit. I was thinking that removing the roof lining and unbolting it from there would be best for refiting. Never having done it before i just wondered if this was the best and easiest way.

need some input of your views on which bumper to go for. i have 3 choices but dont know which to choose, 1) stick with the one thats already on in pic below, 2) i have a 99 spec in storage, or 3) sell the 99 spec and get the same one thats on the front of GUMBALLS. :confused:
