no not smut ........but does anyone know if the front and read discs have the same size bells as i am thinking of putting my front 3G set up and front calipers on the rear and going 6 pot and larger discs on the front ..as you know the handbrake is internal to the bell on the rear and if its a simple matter of making up some brackets to get it to fit then thats not a show stopper...........unless someone knows otherwise ???? :slap:

After 2 months of the zx being off of the road due to a little smash and mix up with the insurance, I finally get to pick her up today :) New wheels, new paint and new suspension. Cant wait to give her a little loud pedal again, see how fast it compares to the Peugeot 407diesel I have been driving.

Can someone tell me how to remove the rear stock (foam) spoiler with Brake Light? When removed, what kind of finish can I expect underneath and how many holes? Thanks fellas!

Ive made a few mods to my zed now, T28 turbos, induction, front mount, bigger rad, de-cat etc, she still runs without missing a beat (although over fueling a little) but im not getting the full use out of it all as i havent done anything with ecu, do i need a chip, ecu, piggy back ecu, boost controller or something else? i want to start upping the boost a little (its still at factory 9psi). can anybody tell me what i need and where i can get it? also whats the most psi i can run safely without blowing internals? ant help would be appreciated.

hi all, ive just recieved my plasma glow dials off fleebay they came with no instructions :slap: both my clocks and new faces read to 180mph so no messing with the calibration :cool: But has any1 fitted these before? or is there a step by step guide avalible. thanx

when i bought my exhaust from topless it looked fantastic (and still does) but i wasnt too happy with the sound, it sounded tinny and rattly, i didnt say anything as i was still happy with the deal and look that i got but lately its started to sound a lot deeper and a tadge louder, it actually sounds awesome, its not as loud as my old scorpion but it sounds better, ive also recieved a few comlpliments on the sound, so all in im now 100% happy with the system (well 99%, not to keen on the slight bee in a tin noise at 3000 RPM lol) must also say the transaction between me topless and japspeed was very smooth and trouble free so its a deffo posotive feedback f…

My tyres are wearing on the inner edge and the garage that fitted my new tyres and adjusted my tracking advised me the camber would need sorting if the wear didn't get better. How easy are these to fit and what is likely to go wrong if I do it myself? :rolleyes:

I want to fit an aftermarket exhaust tom my Z, its a manual tt and i want to keep the cats... Ideally i would like to keep it looking standard but with a nicer sound... What exhaust do you recommend guys? if you could post some soundslips that would be great...

i've blown the radio fuse. Which is fine, i've done it loads of times and got down under the dash and changed it happy days. this time it's weird. Because I can never remember exactly which one it is, i've gone through them all and none are blown. Anyone have or know where I can get a spare Float Switch or or power steering cap with switch from as mine is buggered! Fluid is topped right up and the HICAS light won't go out! On further inspection if you move the float the HICAS light flickers but won't go out perminantly! Many Thanks! :bow:

Going to get my windows tinted but can't deicide what to go for. I was thinking about keeping the front sides ligal (barely tinted at all) would like them darker but i don't want any hassle of fines. The rear side either same as front or slightly darker, the rear limo black so no one can see in my boot and the targas same as the rear side or limo. What has everyone else gone for, pics very welcome :D

Hello all! just jacked my 91 uk tt up to drain auto box oil out but there is no drain plug? how do I drain oil out? Im looking at this page http://zhome.com/ZCMnL/PICS/autoTrannyOilChange/autoTrannyOilChange.html which says the turbo has drain plug but mine hasent?? can anyone help?? Cheers!!!

My Z has started smoking from the drivers side exhaust! it is a white smoke and there is also water in the tail pipe, the exhause also goes white frome time to time! could this be the turbo? or is it more likely to be a head gasket ? any help apreciated !

I loved my old uk auto tt... i was never impressed with the power of it but i just used to love driving it or looking at it! i sold that to buy myself a manual tt for a bit more fun... a major difference was picked up immediately with the power delivery and it felt much faster and more 'driver involving'... now i have myself a manual tt with a rebuild engine and my word!!! this thing is lethal, lethal i say! :cool: :D

i've just had a fuel pipe replaced on my car as it was split and leaking fuel, now there is a major water leak but only when the engine is hot, it is coming from the front of the engine at the bottom, its losing about a litre a day. does anyone have any suggestions to what needs to be done? also does anyone know any nissan or zx specialists in the south wales area as my HICAS light is intermitently. cheers.

When you remove the the trim panels either side of the rear seat there are two square shaped holes roughly 5x4 cut into the shell. there seems to be a decent bit of room behind them for acoustics. I was finishing my retrim yesterday and starting to get ideas of what type of speaker i could fit in there. Has anyone tried it and with what results? Neither the front nor rear stock speaker setup provide decent bass, no matter what type of speakers you put in. I was thinking of putting bass speakers in there, so i wouldnt have to resort to cutting the trim panels . i've got decent components in the front, jbl's in the rear and a very good pioneer head unit. Yesterday the car was fine. No warning lights on etc etc. Today I gave the insides a good vacuum and a gentle wash. Went to go out for a spin about an hour ago but couldn't because: I disarm with the remote. Put key in the ignition, and turn it 2 clicks. ABS light stays on. Turn key again to start engine and bloody alarm goes off instead!!! Now too theres a loud buzzing noise too from either behind the engine or under the battery or behind the nearside wheel arch liner. Somewhere around that area! :confused: :confused: :confused: Any ideas ?
