I thought I'd seen it before, but tonight confirmed it on Sky+, one of the Mythbusters (or their staff) drives a burgundy 300ZX. It can be seen when they do their experiments outside in their car park. The uber-geeks have good taste ;)

Crucified him from 40 to about 120mph - think he gave up then but he was miles behind. It wasn't in me 300 NA though - was on me Honda 1300. :smash:

Hi guys, a friend has offered some mint r32 gtr brakes in good working order...i know the r33 skyline brakes are a good upgrade but are the r32 gtr brakes better than the zed? thanks guys. Kesh

hi everyone Finally jumped in the deep end and bought a 1992 300zx tt. Completely standard fresh import. Unfortunatly I have a slight missfire on idle and quite bad at around 2500 revs, it also stalls sometimes when cold. Read the forums and suspect its the connections on the coil packs, injectors or a faulty ptu. I,ve downloaded a works manual, lifted the bonnet up and then quickly closed it again. No way am I touching anything under there lol. So my question is... I live just north of Hull in East Yorkshire. Could anyone reccommend where I should go to get it look at and properly looked after.

It's about three years old. It was working fine until yesterday. The radio's still ok. If I try and put a CD in it beeps and flashes up 'RESET' and won't take the CD. Any ideas how to sort it? Thanks folks! :duffer:

A couple of weeks ago I ordered US $6900 worth of kit from Z1 and was fully expecting to be raped by HMCE but my folks have just had a call from FEDex saying the import duty and VAT will come to just under £300 :hyper: :hyper: thats less than 10% :nana2: :nana2: :nana2: ................result!!!

Hi I'm changing the tail gate on my red SWB NA this weekend and just wondered if there are any help full tips for removal and refit. I was thinking that removing the roof lining and unbolting it from there would be best for refiting. Never having done it before i just wondered if this was the best and easiest way.

need some input of your views on which bumper to go for. i have 3 choices but dont know which to choose, 1) stick with the one thats already on in pic below, 2) i have a 99 spec in storage, or 3) sell the 99 spec and get the same one thats on the front of GUMBALLS. :confused:

Anyone got any ideas? my 1994 Zx TT just cut out on me I thought it was out of fuel but not so, we have a good spark,good fuel pressure,good compression and the injectors are working fine.I give up does it just not like me anymore??? HELP!! :confused: :confused:

Driving to see my Grandpa tonight and i got half way there and stopped at some traffic lights, when my car started idleing funny and running bad, then i start to accelerate and its a mixture of fine and running bad, like hesitating and coughing and spluttering - running like a bag of spanners. So i get where i was heading and stop the car, thought maybe if i left it for a while it might go right, no such luck! Start it after about an hour and its still bad, so i know a mechanic very well and he agreed to let me leave it with him and he drove me home. Anyway what the hell is causing this problem???? Following on from my missfire thread-it still does :smash: I have been to my local auto- electricians. We put new coil+ injector connectors on. Then we checked for an ecu signal, the pulse light lit up on the tester. Still a dead 170 psi cylinder Now i'm totally confused, is the injector fooked?, or is there anything i've not done+ should of?

where the bloody hell is the connecter for these connection on exhaust is well rounded.pls dont tell me i have to rip out half the interior.electrics on drivers seat are buggered and the engine is half way out so pulling the interior is a job i dont relish at the mo.

My 92 Uk TT has had a misfire for a couple of weeks now, it is only occuring in 4th gear when its coming up to full boost, the engine hesitates and the car looses power... I have ran a diagnostic and found it needed two oxygen sensors which i have now replaced, i have changed the spark plugs too and i am still getting a missfire in 4th... What should i try next? cheers guys

Ok been thinking about selling the zed, but the price's are so low. i paid 4k last march and now it's only worth 3k if i'm lucky. could it be that as fuel goes up the price wll come down. there is NO WAY i am going to sell a car like this for that sort of price. Can some tell me why there so cheap at the moment. i cant think of what i could get for that money thats half as good as my zed.

I have got a a sony DAB stereo in my zed which i have had for the bet part of a year. I am well happy with it and hardly ever listen to CDs or ipod anymore on short journeys. The signal is pretty good with the internal aerial (well it is actually an external aerial that i rest flat in the front window) but the signal tends to get worse if the heaters and /or the headlights are on. they are now HID headlights but not sure if they are better, worse or the same for interference than the std ones. I know i should afix the aerial outside if i want better signal but i dont want to ruin the lines of the car or be drilling holes into the bodywork. The signal is fine wit…

Is it possible to get my road tax without the mot certificat present? it will be mot and i could have the number off the mot certificate if there is one. I thought about taxing it online as all you need is the number off your v5 and reg number and the system checks for the insurance and tax but i read on their website that if you purchase your tax online it is still illegal to drive the car without the tax disk present. although you only just did it online. So i need to get my tax from the post office but without the mot certificate present.
