on some recomendations whats the largest electric fan i can fit to the radiator and then whats the best controller to go for the type that splits the bottom hose or the massive ss-enterprise cooker hob style one? i currantly have a twin 12 inch set up but i have to have it running pretty much all the time im driving as it seems to be struggling to pull air past the front mount any suggestions??

can someone tell me the length of a 300zx twin turbo approx 1992, because its no good me buying 1 if it wont go in my garage. i owned i years ago loved it to bits and fancy another. cheers stu

Hey all Finally ordered the kit to get the Z charging again. Stage 2 Shortblock from Z1 and a number of other bits and pieces. Thanks for all the help and advice so far and sorry about the dumb questions! Although Im afraid they wont be the last. So engine is out and Im getting the front end tidied up (was a bit bent) and engine bay re-spary et while its in bits. The heads are good so Ive got some ti valve fasteners and thats all for the heads. The one bore and one piston were toast so Ive ordered the S2 shortblock. The garage has sent the tubs back to Paul to get them fixed up. I thought while its all in pieces to get a new trans…

on my way 2 work this morning and noticed water temp was very high got 2 work checked water level it was VERY LOW! couldnt see any leaks so filled water up . left it to tick over and noticed water vapour coming from both exhausts. it doesnt clear up. checked water level again and needed another top up. still got water vapour from exhausts. checked oil level seems to be no problems with oil level or colour. find it very strange. engine running great and boost seems fine. havent noticed any performance difference at all. anybody got a clue?

Hi everybody, My side lights (front positioning lights) have packed in. I have checked the fuse in the footwell and that looks good. All other lights are working fine. Is there a relay under the bonnet or any other fuses for the side lights that I need to check? What should I be looking for?

HI people need a bit ov help and advice. my zed has a manual boost controller on one of the cheap ones on ebay. I would like to take it of as no one has said a good thing to say about them(come on the car when i bought it). Just taken delivery of my new zed today - its on a K reg j spec manual LWB TT in gun metal grey. but here is the odd thing. It has all the things i would expect in a later series 2 car... Leather interior with electric driver and passenger seats Alcantara side panels Drivers Air-bag Cruise control with the stalk control not steering wheel control Air-con where you can actually change the direction of the air... I would like to disconnect my battery so I can reset the ECU. What I want to know is. Do I have to physically remove the connection from the battery or could I just pull the battery fuse that is in the Small fuse box in the top lefthand side of the engine bay? 300zx TT auto - Jap Import

Ived got a '90 jap. imported in '99. am a legally able to decatt it or do they count it as being registered in '99?

I removed my plenum and bits to change my knock censor, to do this you have to take the cam belt off to get the idle pully off, now ive never timed a car before let alone a v6, i can see all the marks i need to line up on the cams and bottom pulley, but a mate said make sure piston no 1 is top dead center on the combustion stroke before putting the belt on, is there any way of knowing what stroke that is without taking the plenum etc and rocker covers off to see the cams? Ive been told the lobes on the cams have to be pointing up on first cylinder (front one drivers side), is this right? and what way do they need to be facing on second cylinder? (front one passenge…

95TT J spec. Driving along quite happily in the city with dipped beam on. Go somewhere with less light so on come the high beams. However someone is coming towards me so the high beams go off for a sec. The problem is that I can do this for a while, turning the high beams off and then back on - about 5 changes in a 10 minute period. But then I start getting a weird delay. High beam off, then back on after a few seconds except they don't come on. Takes about 10-20 seconds for the light as if they are 'charging' back up. Now if I leave the stalk on high beam and wait for the light the dipped beam is dimmer than if I just have the stalk not kept on high beam. …

As many of you know i have been experiencing a misfire in 4th gear on boost, however i have just done a self diagnostic on the cars ecu and codes 33 and 53 came up, i believe this is to do with oxygen sensors(not maf) , is this true? Also what do i do now...?

Just got some side side for my 2+2, just tried placing them along side my car. Looks like they are about 20cm too small at the back end! Are they for a SWB or am I not fitting them up right? :confused:
