In my J-Spec auto when last gear is selected and I am driving at 40MPH (60 KPH)the revs drop by about 500, is this overdrive? Stupid question I know!

Anyone in Nottigham with Conzult or that can adjust my TPS this weekend?

Anyone got any idea where I can find longer wheel studs as I need to space the wheels out 10mm because my 350z brembos are hitting the spokes. Cheers Steve.

Was looking at the fibreglass headlights fromn the Z Centre. Has anyone used these and if so are they well made etc and do they give out a decent light? Cheers Tony in Oz :cool:

Pearl white zed parked on Broadstreet on Weds night. Had big green/indiglo looking nissan sticker in front window....

Yesterday I had a red light show up on the dash, had a look in the manual and it aint on there, might be be because it's a jap car and a uk manual. It's on the right hand side of the hand brake light. it's red and looks like something with heat waves coming off it.

:confused: Since picking the car up sunday, which has been great! spent days just driving about. A couple of times the accelerator pedal has stuck, it alway been when I've really put my foot down, The pedal goes hard and I have to really tap it several times to get it to release. any ideas?

Hey everyone, Just wanted to post up the new updated page for my Z of Cardomain.com. When i first posted my cars profile back in June 07, my goals where to add a big bodykit but ive realised i really want to make my car into a 2000spec model as best i can replucate that model. i have recently purchased a 300zx and have alot of questions but i'll start with this one. what is the overdrive button on my auto box and is it best to drive with it on or off?

Wednesday morning was freezing; my Nissan had troubles starting. When it finally fired up, it seemed to be running on 4 cylinders (sounding exactly like a subaru). I risked it and took it for a drive, then the cylinders started to work again once the car had warmed up fully. Has this happened to anyone before? Also, £10 of fuel only does 12 miles!! Is it the injectors?

the site has closed down, i was going to get one of those pods which sit above the dash to take gauges. Stillen copies but for right hand drive. Anyone know where i can get one from? Oh and i know Luke sells some pods at the zcentre but his are a different style which don't do it for me. Just like this one. see piccie

can anybody help, I was giving my uk 2+2 tt some beans, not massive just a bit of a punch off a roundabout when it went on strike, there was a pop and fart out of the exhaust, immidate loss of power and now she runs lumpy in every gear and wont go over 3000rpm, any ideas? i know its not the det censor (knock censor), need quick replys please to get her running again before santa pod on sat, cheers :hyper:

well i have just come back from a nice meal out with my mum! through the front door to find a letter... Hi Guy's beeen about 2 months in the coming but I finally fitted my turbo xs dump valves to my zed a week ago.... and what a difference!!! i'm scaring everything from small childern to cattle when i drive down the road!!! they are loud as foook!!! the best mod yet!!! 9ball :)

Ideally i need to get my car insured today. I'm a bit of a awkrud one to insure because. The car is heavily modified and running big power, spent allot on it. I'm only 23, it's a import. Fully Comp. I would like agreed value. But i do have no points, a daily driver in my name and only need limited miles to say 5k and it is a 1990 so she is a oldey and 4 years no claims I have tried Adrian Flux and waiting for Sky insurance to get back to me, who else would be worth trying?

I'm in 2 minds of what to do with the car situation, i dont know weather to keep mine and spend a small fortune on it , bearing in mind that its got 168000 km on it which is about 105000 miles or get another 1 and leave it standard-ish. its either that or get a GTR skyline i need advice with this so any help is much appreciated, oh and its gonna be a mixture of body and engine work. :confused:

To all, hi My car has recently gone into a spray shop. It went in with a flat battery but I recieved a phone call today from the painter complaining that it wont start. I thought it would be an easy fix cos it has happened before I either jump it or give the PTU a fiddle (calm down, you know what i mean) but NOTHING!! The car has an imobilsier, which did not respond as i pressed the fob. I have no power to dials except hazards, heater dials on left and lights? My question is could it be the imob? if so can i by-pass it? if not what else could it be?!? Never had any probs with the alarm b4..its an old clifford. Trying not to pass judgement but I…

Hi guys Rebuild time, the car is goosed. One of the pistons decided to part company with the rod and has trashed the bore. The garage are buying a used block but I was trying to safe some cash by sourcing pistons myself. Anyone know where I can get some forged standard sized pistons? I dont want to have the bores enlarged as this will mean more cash. Many Thanks
