Boost pressure

I have a metric boost gauge that measure boost in KG/CM2 rather than PSI.

 

When it is working really hard the needle goes up to about 1.2 which appears to convert to 17 PSI is this about right.

    17psi is about 1.2 bar

    yep 1.2 kg/cm2 is 17.02psi .....which is just above the limits of the stock injectors and can cause them to lean out with potential detonation and some nicely melted pistons.

     

    Standard is 9.5psi. 14/15psi is the recomended max with stock intercoolers, tubs and injectors and an upgraded ECU.
