UK Zed for £20k! I'm not bashing it or saying it's explicitly not worth it... but that's a helluva price.... Their sales pitch is a little odd though: :huh:

I have bought a kit from z1 which converts standard hks blow off valves into recircs. Z1 also provided a replacement hose kit. The hoses are different to the standard ones and I do not know how they fit up. Rather than spending hours trying to figure out the pipework I thought I would ask if anyone has a picture or diagram that will help me . Also. How the heck do I reach the clip holding the lower short pipe in place.

Trying to make sure my ecu timing and cas timing are the same. So got myself a timing light. Tested it on an old guys Triumph that lives nearby and it works a treat. I've seen a few different ways you use it with a coil pack system. One way you rested the induction head on the coil pack, didn't work. The other way, you remove coil pack, I then used a spare ht lead I had, attached an end to the plug, the other to the coil pack. The car starts and runs on all cylinders, but once I connect the inductive clamp to the lead, still nothing lighting. Can anyone help?

Who has HIDS, wattage, kit used and price, how long has it been in your car? What is a good HID 5000w kit? Where did you guys install the ballast since the engine gets hot? Any pics? I know it's an old topic but I'm curious. Some are saying to use LED kits but is it a difference and is it worth it? Regards Ikon

Has anyone got any recommendations for cleaning the OEM intake pipes...? I'd like to get them looking nice and fresh again and don't want to inadvertently use something that will degrade the material! Si and Joel, I'm sure you guys have some tips... ;)

Had a thought about turbo failure that I think may be interesting to discuss, we all have read the painful tales of woe here when your favourite toy starts smoking and the dreaded turbo failure hits you in the pocket. Having been around scene since it started I have read hundreds of such failures and yes in the early days they were mostly standard turbo`s on cars approaching say 100k miles and many having been subject to sketchy or careless servicing by previous owner`s. As the scene has taken its lead from the US many, many big build engines or just turbo changes have now been less likely to be rebuilt standard units but upgrades or hybrids from the US and suc…

Looking at ATF Dexron 2 for my power steering, and auto gearbox oil, do people agree/disagree? Same oil for both? And in terms of brands, locally available is Triple QX or Granville Cheers!

Hi all, I understood that ALL OEM UK clocks had 2 potentiometers in them for speedo range and position adjustment and that Jap clocks only had 1, The reason I ask is that I have bought what are OEM UK clocks in appearance , but when you look at the dial there is only one Potentiometer which make me think they are Jap. This combined with the fact that I took the OEM UK dial out of its cluster and put it in my Jap cluster for ease , only to find it did not work ( exactly the same circuit board on back of cluster between UK and Jap ) has me a bit lost . Thoughts from anyone who knows ? Ta Sayers

Car ran at the weekend enough to be able to move it i needed to move it again today but it wouldnt start, its getting fuel to the injectors and a spark how can i test if fuel is going through the injectors? Is there anything else that can cause it to not start?

Im sure my choice of oil and filter wont go down well with many of you but it works for me. 10-40 semi is more than good enough for a non turbo engine.. I burn a bit on track days so need to top up regularly. It will be changed again after 3000 miles so in my view its all good. Cue an oil debate..........:yes: Im prepared for a long list of reasons why Im wrong:biggrin:

I'm just wondering what the best tools to get are for the zed. There's seems to be several tools out there so I'm a bit unsure on what to get. If these aren't right, can some one point me to the right one. Thinking of selling my wheels saw sets on ebay at £1000 ive only got 3 as a rear was damaged, anyone know roughly what theyde sell for each? Obvious answer is £250 as 1000÷4 is 250 but whats a realistic figure with no tyres? Anyone got a front mount intercooler pic with no front bumper? Hi ...could someone tell me the correct way to check the level and fill the auto transmission fluid on my UK Auto please and what it the correct engine oil to use please ?

I was gonna install my forge unos bc today but a lack of connectors and wrong size vacuum hose put an early end to that. Anyways I followed the guide on Z32 wiki and it said after taking of the wastegate hoses to follow them back towards the end and remove the stock boost restrictor thats in the line, but getting to them seems physically impossible(perhaps from underneath the engine?). And then I looked at robos z32 page and it didn't mention anything about removing the stock jets, I searched on here too and found an install thread that said the same; just tee the wastegate hoses and plug the remaining hole and off you go... So is that the way to go?
