Hello, I'm new to the forum so bare with me as not that sure if I'm in right section. Basically does anyone know where I might be able to get the universal joints for the prop shaft? Am I best going to breakers or are there specialists etc? Don't want to have to buy the whole prop shaft unless there's anyone on here who has one at a decent price. Cheers!

My TT runs perfectly under most conditions, but it can be quite lumpy under very light throttle. It's basically when the throttle is barely touched, like while maintaining 20 mph, or accelerating really slowly in traffic. If you press it a couple of extra millimeters, it runs fine and it's perfect when driven hard. Has anyone got any suggestions?

Okay so had a report back from the body shop saying that apparently the larger SMICs I have are causing the fresh paint to crack? Although I'm nearly 100% sure they weren't touching the bumper when it went in there. I'm not with the car so I can't clarify but has anyone heard of/had any issues of this nature?

Okay , so been thinking about installation of traction control over the last few days, Now ideally I would prefer a Racelogic system, But if i cannot locate one at a sensible price what alternatives do I have, Is it possible to use an OEM system from another Nissan and graft it into the loom , much in the same way as a Racelogic would need, Anybody clever out there with some sensible thoughts on this Thanks Sayers

Hey guys, as most of you are aware, I swapped out my TT diff for an NA one. Unfortunately, I got sent a TT flange, I've found someone who will make up a 1 piece propshaft here in Ireland for a reasonable price with a 2-3 hour turnaround. If I bring the TT half and the NA half together with the TT flange on it, is this the correct length?? or is the NA flange longer/shorter/same length as the TT flange?? Thanks

Hi folks I have never been in a SWB, I was wondering what the situation is with legroom. I'm 6'5" and just about comfy in a LWB. Is the legroom the same in a SWB?

Guys, realise you can't reply here but if anyone can PM me and help, much appreciated. I've been out to take pics of my interior on my grey swb this morning and locked the only set of keys (I know I know, been meaning to cut a spare for ages) in the back. It's a slicktop swb so no chance of replacing a targa! Other than a tin opener, I know there were some tips years ago so if anyone can pm me I'd appreciate it. Normally I'd call Jeff, but, well as those older members will know the knowledge base is a little thinner on the ground these days.

Just got my zEd back from automodz and it drove superbly, Mark waved his magic wand and saved me big expense. Seems the turbos were OK he had exhaust and off camera up to look at state of turbo and they were fine, when he opened up the exhaust system and low and behold lots and lots of old cat cleare5d this all out and hey presto. Seems exhaust was clogged up and noise around turbo has gone. Also he fitted a nice new aluminium prop shaft for me. And good price too. Thanks Mark and co, job well done.

Well, what can i say, i'm buzzing to finally be back in a Zed!, albeit an N/A, but its a manual and i LOVE it!, i've had a twin turbo zed for several years, but it had engine problems/overheating quite some time ago and long story short i lost heart/interest with it, and it's sat in the back of my garage for years,(didnt have the heart to sell it though) so i'm determined to make a start to getting it back to its former glory....i just needed a little push! inspiration, most people would probably think that i should've used the money to fix my turbo....but you can't have too many zeds right?? so that being said for my 35th birthday i've treated myself to this :biggri…

Well, after almost a year after acquiring my first Z and trying desperately to get her on the road, she's all MOT'd, taxed and insured and I made my first show last night..Jap Night at Squires Cafe (Leeds). It's been an emotional roller coaster with seized engines (TT conversion done courtesy of Lee Dent), and drilling out and re-welding panels to name but a few, so such a chuffin' relief to get there! The journey is still not over (obviously, it's a 20odd year old car!), but from what I can tell, the work needed in the foreseeable will be more manageable. Look forward to meeting a few of you at future meets..who's off to the Yorkshire Breakfast in Malton o…

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SuperPro-Polyurethane-Steering-Rack-Mounting-Car-Bush-Kit-High-Quality-SPF2492K-/331509011613?fits=Model%3A300+ZX&hash=item4d2f7a149d:g:sVAAAOSwAPlXhJzC Car failed the MOT today as apparently I need the steering rack bushes replaced. Whizzed through everything else. Question. Will the ones advertised above fit a 1998 JDM TT? MPN SPF2492K Reference OE/OEM Number 5445-71L00, 5444-35F00 Never lists the 98 models but I'm guessing its the same as the 95 specs? Gotta get these brought and fitted in the next 10 days or cost of another re-test..... ;-( Plus I am itching to drive her...... again.....and again....
