Hard to say really what it's worth as it is a one off built to very high spec but completely undrivable day to day which then brings the price down and the amount of people that would buy it right down too.

Problem with the receipts and work is that it was all done in Australia so pretty sure there is no warranty or come back if it turns out to be a shoddy build internally.

It would be easier to price without that horrendous spoiler and less-than-appealing front bumper. Some of the red detail (interior and exterior) is hard to look at too. The cheap ebay rear lights are a turnoff, but can be easily replaced.

Difficult to say at any rate. The general Z public probably wouldn't pay anymore than £10k for it irrespective of its performance, although it really is worth more. I'd hate to see it on the drift circuit as it would get absolutely trashed and drifting bores me to tears. It does look incredibly clean and with a few choice changes would be be a wonderful car (with the clutch changed).

There's no spec sheet

There's no dyno sheet

No receipts (even though they'll be in AUD, it is 'some' evidence of a transaction).

With the poor grammar too, it's not a great ad for what could be a high spec pristine car.

....I just also noticed it's on a 'Q' plate (further detail in the Q&A section).....that's more of a turnoff than the rear lights, rear spoiler and front bumper. What a shame! It's instantly worth less and potentially unsalable with a 'Q' plate at any sort of value that the seller would be expecting.

In the Q&A he says its running a base map to run in at the moment, but he is assured that it can make between 600-800, where the turbos will max out at 800. So no it doesn't make 800hp, at least in its current state.

i know of this car, built by per4mance turbochargers, for Paul Clare (of minardi F1 or was), was one hell of a machine, but would like to know what happened to its original engine and wheels etc, was supposed to have been exported to Germany so not sure how it ended up here with a different motor and wheels and a bloody Q plate...

was 500hp at the rears when it was built.

it was an os giken twin plate clutch and fly, and it never has those cheap lights on it, had a lovely set of works VS alloys,

sorry for the anorak moment, but read about it in a magazine years ago, one of the reasons I ended up with 300zx's lol

I doubt I can find the sort of money its worth, but if anyone on here buys it can tell you want magazine It was featured in, (I still have it ....)

Just been having a look at this ad....

Yes, it looks an incredibly clean car. Like, eat your dinner off the chassis clean!

Yes, it's (apparently) super-low mileage, on both the shell and the components.

Yes, it has all-singing and all-dancing front mounted turbos on carbon manifolds and God knows what other trick bits.

BUT!

It is (subjectively) a bit unsightly on the styling front.

It's a Q-plate.

It's not a road car.

The whole thing reads to me like the owner hasn't the first idea about how to "value" it and so they're relying on questions being asked to gauge the value.

It's going to end up one of two ways: either some mental drift weapon, or an outright showcar (a la The Beast) where show visitors can peruse a big file showing the car's history.

Question is... would either of those type of prospective buyers pay really big money for it...?

The exterior does nothing for me, but everything looks well done.

However....Carbon Fibre exhaust manifolds...no...no it does'nt.

Any vehicle given a 'Q' plate usually indicates its identity cannot be proven which from the above information tells me that formerly it was a great spec car. Unfortunately it also appears that all the good bits have been removed and sold off leaving just the shell. Someone then has bought the shell with no paperwork and rebuilt it with other mechanicals..........in Oz. With no valid paperwork and no indication of its capabilty as its running a base map, l think its another Ebay dreamer.

Of the 10 serviceable 300zx for sale on eBay at the moment, the average classified price is over £108,000!

I'll get my "For Sale" ad up now then! :thumbup1:

Are you saying that you like the bonnet and nose panel? :scared::scared::scared::scared::scared:
