Posted October 9, 20168 yr Going to fit one too see what all the fuss is about Lol! All stripped and Powdercoated. And the spent the weekend removing all old bushes to fit Poly's-not a job I want to do again in a rush! Lol! Getting too old for this............:sweatdrop:
October 9, 20168 yr How much did all the powdercoating cost you, and where did you buy the bushes from. Thanks Saw something where just changing the rear end to the na diff increased the 0-60 by .5 second on a stock TT. They got a 4.7s 0-60gps.
October 9, 20168 yr It's such a shame you can't just switch the Diff itself allowing you to try easily or chop and change depending on what's going on.

Sounds like a good deal, but reading through lots of old threads I think I will stick with the locking collars as the old bushings sound like the biggest pita to get out. Thanks.
October 10, 20168 yr Author Well what a Night!-was going to mount the diff etc tonight, only for one of the front bolts to grab on the thread and spin the captive nut!-where is it you ask?-in the subframe!bugger!. Ended up carrying out open heart surgery to the subframe,to re-weld the captive nut, to tighten the bolt.:hammer::sweatdrop: - - - Updated - - - Sounds like a good deal, but reading through lots of old threads I think I will stick with the locking collars as the old bushings sound like the biggest pita to get out. Thanks. They are a royal pain mate!-I didn't burn them out tho'.
October 10, 20168 yr I banged in the locking collars, so much easier and as Jeff and Jimmer have said, they tighten up the original bushes without being too harsh.:thumbup1:
