Getting too old for this............:sweatdrop:

How much did all the powdercoating cost you, and where did you buy the bushes from. Thanks

Saw something where just changing the rear end to the na diff increased the 0-60 by .5 second on a stock TT. They got a 4.7s 0-60gps.

It's such a shame you can't just switch the Diff itself allowing you to try easily or chop and change depending on what's going on.

Had the main frame all arms and both knuckles and roll bar done for £120-diff I painted.

Bushes all came from Luke @ Zcentre mate.

Sounds like a good deal, but reading through lots of old threads I think I will stick with the locking collars as the old bushings sound like the biggest pita to get out.

Thanks.

Well what a Night!-was going to mount the diff etc tonight, only for one of the front bolts to grab on the thread and spin the captive nut!-where is it you ask?-in the subframe!bugger!.

Ended up carrying out open heart surgery to the subframe,to re-weld the captive nut, to tighten the bolt.:hammer::sweatdrop:

They are a royal pain mate!-I didn't burn them out tho'.

I banged in the locking collars, so much easier and as Jeff and Jimmer have said, they tighten up the original bushes without being too harsh.:thumbup1:

the problem with them lock thing is it raises the back of the car a bit i had them in before i did the job proper and fitted new bushes, there not that hard to get out i did burn my mine out with a blow torch
