Newbies - let yourselves be known

Hey, thought i'd introduce myself, Im dave 25 from Edinburgh but live in Tranent currently working as a lorry driver. Thought i'd join here as im seriously considering purchasing a 300ZX in the fairly near future and figured id be better having some inside knowledge first. Hope this site will be a huge help and inspiration

Ey oop everybody. I'm pretty close to taking the plunge and burning a hole in my pocket on a 300zx. I'm pretty much set on a 300zx after taking one for a test drive this afternoon. Was an import auto twin turbo. Seemed to go pretty well and the last owner who is a middle aged woman has owned it since import. Needs some TLC but could scrub up well with some elbow grease. Being new to the land of Zed I wondered if anyone knows of a specialist or at least a garage with some experience working on the z32 300zx around the Brighton area???:donatello:

Just recently bought A 300zxTT, Beautiful car. Needs a little bit of work though. Should be a good project. Looking for a little bit of informational help on the car. 1. Problem the front and rear passanger side rims were wrecked. So im trying to replace them, but I have no Idea the offset or which offsets would fit the car. Was looking for some 8.5 for the front and 9.5 rear, with a 35, 35 offset front and rear. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Guys. :helpsmilie:

Hi my name is euan im from inverness. Bought a 300zx twin turbo about 2 months ago after a few shots of my dads auto 1. Had buy 1 faster than his tho. lol Love the car. Its is 407bhp 410lb/ft on low boost 0.9bar only ran high boost once and it was a bit nuts so keep it at 0.9 plenty fun enough for me.

Live in Surrey and currently drive a ............ 206CC:scared: Getting rid or palming off to the GF to be exact so i'm now looking for my 1st Zed. I have just bought a 1991 vg30dett, just a cupple of questions 1st my zx is smoking only on one bank and it's constant smoke Any ideas? 2nd can any one help with insurance Many thanks (lee)

I was planning on buying a 300 recently, but it fell through at the last minute. I do have my eye on one however and fingers crossed I'll have my way! A litle about me.... Hi, I've just bought a 300zx and it's awesome. I've wanted one for near on 20 years and now I've finally got one! The car is pretty much tip top, just a couple of minor problems. Hello! Having just moved to north Bracknell, i have finally scraped together some pennies to buy myself a zed! Reading through some threads i saw a few of you live Ascot way?? About my zed: 3.0 TT manual, Jap import. It runs beautifully, but is need of some body work/ cosmetic work to be done! It sailed through its MOT and service at zed world ( Phew :yes: ), and as its an import, doesnt have any corrosion. What lets the beast down is that it has a fair few dents all over, so will need 2 new front wings, new n/s door, aaaaaaand a respray :pinch: ! Ry

Been a member for a year but after a illness never got to do much to my zed, got it back out the garage the other day and got her going, mot next week so hopefully be on here more often. Sharon

Hi everyone new here, ive come over from a yorkshire car club modified-enthusiasts.co.uk just wanting to try source a z32 afm. Love the 300zx and i own a 200sx s13. After abit of advice as i see the for sale section states only members can sell/buy things, but all i want is one part, is there anyway around this? or have i read it wrong? Many Thanks James
