Wow!! I must have been on the hunt for Z32 MAFs for my S13 and Z32 ECUs to modify back in the the day. That's got to be some kind of record: 8 years, 2 months of no-post lurking :wack: Been a looooong time Nissan Fanboy, managed to wring out 383bhp & 326lbft @ hubs from my internally-stock CA18DET S13 many moons ago. Always wanted a Zed, but just never got round to it. Finally got myself a '92 JDM Twin Turbo Auto. Went up to Newcastle to buy a Soarer 2.5TT, and met with a Zed owner from Dundee ("sheppy" on here, also an MR2 Turbo owner - our cars were both on IMOC) and did a straight swap for my Subaru Forester T/tb. In the dark. In the rain. Guess we were both r…

I've actually been an un-subbed member for sometime, as I am a moderator over on 350z-uk and part helped to organise LakeZ 2011.(More info on LakeZ 2012 to come soon). I had a pretty nicely modified (if I do say so myself!) 350z, which I looked into TT'ing, but it would have been the first TT HR engined Zed in the country and was gonna cost more than the car was worth. So instead I part ex-d it for a VXR8 (LS3) and had a play around with 440bhp for a year or so. Got shot in the summer, and have been moping around in difference sheds of various guises, the latest of which is a Honda Accord Tourer. Time has come to get myself a Zed once again, but due to impen…

Hi all, just registered so thought it would only be polite to say hello. I am the guy that organises the LakeZ event with Lexx. I will also know a few of you from other places too. I am a 350z roadster owner but have had several of the other models so am a big fan of the marque. I love the shows and look forward to meeting more of you during the year.

hi Having owned a few classics in my time i've now decided it's time to acquire a 300ZX. It's bonus time at work as have got a couple of grand (which could be stretched a little) burning a hole in my bank account and need to find a nice TT, not fussed whether SWB or LWB and would prefer a manual one Have had a read through the buyers guides and am still not put off although I think that's more to do with my thinking being done by my 'petrolhead' rather than my sensible head. Any hints, tips, advice, cars that may be coming up for sale? Is it best to buy an unmolested original one or one that's had a few sensible mods already completed? Any advice great…

Hey Guys! New to the forum, would just like to say hello but also ask for a bit of help regarding auto transmission. Sorry about the long post - here is the back story but if you just want to know the problem then please just skip to the bottom. My dad bought a 1992 Red 300ZX TT 2+2 4spd Automatic about a year ago for £1000. It had a seized engine so we trailered it back and have since been working on it in and out of other commitments. After removing the engine and dismantling it the problem turned out to be a big end cap, it had come lose and detached - jamming the engine solid. This matches the description by the previous owner as they said they were goi…

Hi all, Thought i'd pop in and say hello. I'm Barry from Wrexham. Don't have my Z yet, but am getting a '92 TT Manual this weekend. It's a car that's already within this site - i'm doing a deal with a member here called Paull83. The Z could do with a bit of work, mainly bodywork so i have a few plans. The good thing for me is that it's not going to be a daily runner, so i'm in no rush to get things done. Hopefully sometime next year i'll get to meet with a few of you and you can all tell me how best to spend my money

got this delivered today for a nice price. its a targa top model n/a auto, Apart from needing a wash and polish it needs the altenator replaced or reconned whatever is cheapest as the bushes inside it are either stuck/sticking, and the prop bearings need replaced as its knocking in the middle (under handbrake console if that helps you picture where) and thats basically it.

ok so my car is overfueling guzzling fuel like it's going out of fashion. No check engine light but ecu reads code 12 air flow meter circuit??. Things I've done....changed spark plugs and fuel filter. Problem started after I replaced the very old tatty crumpled cone air filter. When I say bad...it was that blocked that the engine had almost crushed it inwards trying to draw air in. I'm guessing that the engine over fueled to compensate for lack of air?? I don't know as I'm new to this. I did remove and clean the MAS with proper cleaner for the job and re installed. At first car wouldn't start and when it did it was rough but then I realised I hadn't connected the sensor, …

Hey guys and girls, I've been a member on here for a few months now just sitting in the background reading mostly, then I saw what is now my new ride for sale! Im sure loads of you recognise it as Lorenzo's! I went to look at it a few days after it was listed and decided 'I like that'! Good colour, lots of bits as well. Anyone that read the for sale thread knows the engine is shot so i've got a few ideas in mind to sort it. 1. Send it to Zedworld for an engine swap or rebuild 2. Swap it myself 3. Get someone local to sort it 4. Rebuild the e…

Not an owner, though I do drive the other halfs. But the only way I am going to be able to get a decent conversation out of my other half is to be in here as thats where she always seems to be these days. Cats are thinner, I am thinner and the electric bill is through the roof with her always powering up her ipad. So, just thought I should introduce myself because A' it is the right thing to do, and B' she knows that I am in here too :devil2:
