Hi guys, Newbie here looking to buy my first 300zx, which is going to be my new daily driver replacing my 9-3 Aero. Any specific zx faults that I should look out for? I would prefer a manual but I'm coming round to the idea, I've always though auto's were abit..gay but I'm coming around to the idea, especially with it being my everyday running project. What are the auto's like? I've ALWAYS wanted a Fairlady, but something has always got in the way of me buying one, I was actually going to buy a GTO tt, but sense has prevailed ;) With it being my daily, how reliable are they? I'm either going for a minter or the other end of the scale and buy somet…

Hi guys I'm new here.My name is Alex and I'm from Italy.Came here to do some search on VG30DETT engine, if everything will be ok I will swap this to my s13 body. If I'm not mistaken the VG engine is easyer than the RB26 and it costs less money so it is the perfect way to go for cheap power and v6 is better than the str8 6.The only thing left to do is to learn where its weak points are...I hope you guys will give me a hand with this, thanks and by the way sorry for the mistakes that I made when I was writing, I 'm trying to do my best.

Just picked up a lwb auto, original I bought it just to take to the ring as my Noble won't be back in time!! But now thinking of holding on to it as its a dam good car for the money!!! It could do with a bit of a spit and polish and some new brakes but all is good!!! Has anyone got any upgraded brakes that they want to sell???? Glad I joined the 300zx clan Nicksy

Hi guys, just thought i'd say hello! Hunting for my first Z. Owned an RX-7 FD3s for 4 years.. stupidly sold it to refurb garage/flat roof extension in need of repair last november and am now hunting for my next bhp fix. Always been a huge Z fan, and hoping that manta-v8 pics up on the fact i've replied to his ancient for sale thread that was recently bumped :P its the only V6 twin turbo motor out there i fancy owning after rotary sequential twin madness so i hope one pops up soon! p.s. if anyone with PM abilities or manta-v8's phone number would like to poke him, feel free :D anyone, hopefully a Z32 owner soon!

First , HI to all the forum ! I recently aquired my first 300zx , it's a TT manual LWB and completely stock. I paid very little money for it because it has a knackered engine but the rest seems to be in good shape. My plans for it are replacing the engine , polish and fix some details here and there and just enjoy driving it in the weekends. Here are some pics from the day I picked it. BTW, anyone can recomend me a reputable supplier of engines or 300zx breaker? Thanks again.

Hi guys, Some of you may have already seen me post for some advice on some other bits but anyway... thought I'd introduce myself as I'm new on here. Currently drive an '02 EM2 Civic that I've put a bit of money into, but looking at buying a 300zx TT. Just something thats suitably cooler and faster of course. Always had a thing for Nissans... I think theres probably about 5 in my dream garage (for when I win the lottery :D). I'm pretty new to the whole z-car thing though so go easy on me for now! Live just outside York, dont know if there are any locals or nearby meetings or whatever. Thats about it for now...!

Hi everyone, bought my first zx yesterday after years of looking. It's a lwb, non turbo as insurance on a TT was too expensive for me. Got it as a project. Leaving it off road for now as i'm still driving my astra coupe turbo, although that's no where near as exciting as the zx. Got a few ideas of what i wana do to it but need to do the basics first, new leather interior, replace speedo, respray spoiler etc. Any advice on styling or the best place to buy body and engine parts would be a big help. Looked on ebay for a front bumper but there doesn't seem to be much decent stuff on there.

Full nut and bolt restore through out. She is currently being mapped at Rising sun performance in Winchester and has made an impressive 680 bhp at 1 bar of boost. They are going to push her to 1.8 bar, so cant wait for the results! I have just started doing carbon dipping for a job and plan to Carbon dip all interior parts throught out as soon as it back. Full spec and more pics to come soon!

And by soon, I mean tomorrow! I'm going to be in the London/Luton area for the next week or so and it'd be awesome to find a z31/32 owner in the area to hang out with. Anyone in that area, hopefully checking this subforum in the next week?
