Hey there, I'm Alistair. I've registered as from next month I will be on the lookout for a manual uk twin turbo hopefully around the £2500/3000 area, cheaper if possible. I thought through this site I may be able to get advice at what to look for when buying a 300 as I have never owned a nissan or even looked into them. I'm a vehicle technician anyway so I know what to look for mechanically but wasn't sure if there are known faults with these. There's bound to be some as every car has them. Cheers

Hi all, my name is Mike and I from Portugal. I have one 300ZX TT and this is the second time I change it all. I bought my Z in 1998 with a head-on collision, and repared it. Then it was the "Fast & Furious" time, and I make a full rebuilt. In 2006 I began an new rebuild, but since I was some problems it was stoped 5 years. This year I began again, and now it's in the middle of the process. This is when it goes painting

Hey, everyone!! Been a member for a while now, but just became a subscribed member and thought it aboit time I introduced myself. I've had my import lwb tt Z for just over a year now. I bought it as a hobby/project and that is exactly what it has been. I had electrical gremlins until about three months back which I have finally sorted (touch wood) and had just pulled out all interior and slowly retrimming in leather ;headache. However due to moving and having to renovate new house, Z is currently on hold :( so I have to get my Z fix by checking in here 5 or 6 times a day ;addict. Anyway, keep up the interesting reads and hello again :)

I am in the process of buying a 1991 Fairlady Z32 Coupe manual twin turbo, it needs a whole exhaust system and front dics, so i was thinking to get the brakes done all around. At the minute the car is standard but i want to upgrade as i mod the car. Any suggestions for a good exhaust and brake set up would be exactley what i need. Thanks for any help. By the way, if i do get the car i might be asking loads of silly questions as it has been about 12 years since I had my last 300zx.

Hello everyone ... I am a newbie (today). My wife and I enjoy our cars. We run a BMW Z3M Coupe which we love, but we do most of our mileage in an old straight six Volvo S80 (automatic, LPG converted). The old Volvo does most things very well, and returns a cost equivalent of 45 mpg, so it is a fine car. My wife finds the Z3 clutch/gearbox a bit heavy, and I fancy a targa top. So we're looking at maybe trying to find a good 300zx automatic targa top. A turbo engine isn't important (the Z3 provides all that is needed in the oomph department). A zx seems - on paper - to offer what we want ... a bit of space inside, a smooth ride and targa tops .... and it is a real…

Hello all, just introducing myself. My zed is a rolling shell picked up for a friend who didn't need it in the end. Decided that because the engine has 62K on it, I'd give it a go to get up and running. It has no interior but the plan is to cage it out, upgrade as much as possible and then throw it down a track somewhere! Managed to get hold of some Greddy turbos for not too much money so they should help make it faster. Good few months of work ahead. :hang:

Hi all, I have been looking and admiring the zx for a long time and now in a position where I am actually looking to do something about it I was just after a couple of bits of info. I am not a fan of auto's generally but would love to know some opinions on how good the auto boxes are in these or whether it would be worth sticking with the manuals. Being a car thats not easily available for test drives, any comparisons would be nice. 2ndly, anyone on here a carp fisherman? If so can you get rods in the car? :punk: Thanks Daz

Hi all, thought I'd introduce myself. My names John and I've just got my hands on my first 300ZX, which is also my first 'big' car. It's a 1990 N/A in red. I'm based around the Cheltenham area. I'm sure to have lots of questions over the next few weeks, and this place looks to be by far the best place to get information. I'm looking forward to my journey with my 300! Cheers John
