First time posting on the forum having been a member for a while, the reason being I bought my first Z32 yesterday and took it to its new home in Edinburgh. Details: - 1991 TT auto 2+2 - imported in 2005 - almost entirely stock other than a few minor mods: - 18x8" Samurai D1R wheels - aftermarket exhaust (unsure of spec, wasn't supplied by previous owner) - 99-spec rear spoiler - HID kit Hope this is the start of a very happy and long ownership and hopefully have more to say and show in the coming weeks! (can't work out how to post a photo directly, hope the link works)

Hi, Andy at Competition Clutch UK here. This is just a quick Hi to the forum whilst I wait for contact from the admins regarding sponsorship and trade account status - if whoever is in charge of that can drop me a email that would be awesome. As most of you will know Competition Clutch are one of the leading clutch and flywheel performance brands in the world. You may not know that we are now working directly with the well-established UK clutch company CG Motorsport to help offer UK support and tech advice as opposed to our old US based service. Currently our products are used across the UK and European racing scene with leading drivers, drifters and dra…

Hi all, Owned zed for over 15 years, it was in my garage for the last 5 years and only recently decided to put it back on the road, a little welding (my fault because I never fully covered the car) a leaking fuel tank, which I located through dave, a member of this club, who introduced me to this site, and very grateful to him, thanks again. I just need a battery strap to finally get the beast back on the road, any help would be appreciated, Thanks

Howdy, I'm new to the forum, new to the Z world and actually also new to Nissan .... well at least when it comes to ownership. My garage consists mostly of german and a bit of swedish and french machinery. Only when it came to motorbikes, I've always kept to japanese stuff. There are very few japanese cars, that give me an itch, that needs to scratch and the 300ZX definatly was one of them. My previous exposure of Nissan has mostly been my brother who has a PS13 Silvia with S15 nose conversion. As of Sunday, I'm now the happy owner of a fairly low milage, well minded Fairlady Z from 1995. It's a 3l non-turbo T-top. The only mods being cat-ba…

I've got someone potentially interested in the leggy so may be in a position to buy one soon :) Basically I'm after a passenger ride in a sorted zed, basically so I know what to expect and what to look for when finding my own. Still not decided fully which car to replace the leggy with but as ive always loved the zed it's a distinct possibility :) (also looking at mr2 turbo, rx7 and mx5!) I'd cover any fuel costs etc and although I've limited history on here ive been a long term active member on uklegacy.com (madfish) Thanks in advance, Mark

I'm trying to decide which one to go for :) always had the lwb in mind but don't really need the rear seats... As long as it's Targa and TT I'm happy :) Thanks, Mark

hello there am ryan just signed up. makes a more eye catching thread header than hi am a noob ;) i hope someone can help me i have finally after 8 years of harping on about it bought my z32 tt manual import from a chap in kent and drove it a chuffing 10 hour drive back to the drizzle in Aberdeen here. the first issue is when i purchased the animal he wasn't very clued up about the modifications on it. he purchased it 8 months earlier from someone near Liverpool and looks like a impulse buy anyhow from the receipts it looks like it has had a racing bottom end rebuild, dump valves, coilovers, fuel pressure reg, apexi dual intake, funcy exhaust and a chip in the ecu. it i…

Hi All After owning my Ford Capri since 1984 (2.8i), I have decided to buy another of my dream cars and at the same time 'modernise' a bit. So this afternoon I am off to see a 1989 TT LWB Fairlady auto. I am informed by the present owner who I work with, that they bought it over from Japan and are the only owners since then. They drove it for a few years but for the last year it has been sat in their garage. THe wheels & Tyres alone were approx. £800+ and the car is modified (slightly). Showroom condition except it doesn't start at present (not just flat battery?). Will check it out this afternoon and get some photos. The 'special' price to me as I will look afte…

Afternoon gentlemen, as you can probably tell from the title, I'm a newbie! So hello to you all Bit about myself: I'm Alex, live in Fareham nr Portsmouth, am aged just 22 and am now the proud owner of a '90 NA LWB Manual Car may have been in the club before? Im unsure though, but its pretty standard, which is perfect for me with only 67k on the clock. drove it 3 hours home the other night without a problem, which is good, there are a couple of little things to look at but nothing too substantial Have always been an admirer of ZX's from a young age, and funilly enough at this stage in life cant quite afford the TT (buying it, insuring it or running i…

Hi All, Well, my 300ZX ownership has begun. To be strictly accurate, my deposit is paid and I'm off to Belfast to pick her up next week. She's a '90 Import TT in silver with 73k miles (118K km) on the clock. There were newer cars and newer UK cars but the owner has really impressed me with his honesty and has maintained the car to within an inch of it's life. I did use the Buyers Guide to interpret the many, many pictures of the car, so I thought it'd be rude not to register:wink: Anyhoo, good to be here. N.

Hello, a sad newbie here, I brought a 300zx tt yesterday and didn't even make it the hour drive home, the temperature shot up and oil pressure down and had no power I feel like crying. I think I was stitched up. It was fine until I got to the motorway the gave up! I'm probably going to need to sell for spares or repairs now, I'm gutted.
