Sorry I missed this bit when I registered. I see the activity is as lively as it was when I was registered back in 2002! Well I kept my first z for 3 years & I have been z less since March this year:yes: I've imported it & at this moment it's (hopefully) being sorted for MOT, then registering with DVLA for plates & then onto road! I have just sent my subscription off to the club on Friday 27/06/14. First z was red & a UK one! This one is pearl white & Jap! I know & seen members comments about best colour of Z'ds! In common with both they are TTs & autos. Cannot wait to get on the road!! Hi to all (sorry this is long winded)! …

Hi all I'm jason, I'm from South Wales. In 1998 I purchased a 1989 2+2 turbo, manual transmission, etc. I drove it for a year then got a company vehicle, it's been in the garage ever since. Unfortunately she is looking a little worst for wear so I've decided it's time to spend some money on her and get her back on the road, gonna spend the summer working on her, will put up some pictures when I next pull her out of the garage, I know to start the breaks have seized, and the clutch pedal stays on the floor ( hopefully just fluid gone off). She has been started every year so hopefully engine all good. Speak soon Jas.

Hi everyone. New member her from Northern Ireland! After years of want I'm finally in the position to buy a zed. However id love a few questions answered before I take the plunge. Unfortunately not being very mechanically minded I'm worried about possible problems/upkeep needed. Being in Northern Ireland are there any good places that are experienced in servicing and the mechanics of a 300zx if anything major goes wrong? Thanks guys.

Hey guys. Time to say hi on a new forum! If any of you are on DW, have had a skyline or a S-body then you may know me :) I was ready to drive back to uni yesterday and saw a gentleman leaving a house where there has been a 300ZX parked for the last 7 years! I decided to take the plunge and ask him if it was for sale.... Bought it by accident then and there lol. Thats one of my old S13s, so rotten it's just not safe anymore, even as a drift car. So we stripped it. Many questions I have about the Zed, I'll post them in the right section, and be ready for a good project thread! :D - Adam

Hello all! I am the proud owner of a brand new(ish) 1990 300ZX TT Manual :D I joined in order to find like minded people with a passion for these cars. Unfortunately the car can't be driven by me until January 2015 due to my current insurer not covering me on imports so will have to wait for my policy to run out and change company :( I have already picked up a few useful tip by looking through some of the posts and thought to myself, why not join and make the most of this useful forum? :) So here is the car, more pictures will follow :) Oh and one last thing, I still need help picking a name for her! ;) Thanks, Stefan

Daft newbie question this but. Most forums (SkylineOwners.com, SXOC, GTROC etc) I'm on have project threads. I'm a total geek, I do all my own work and I love spending nightshifts reading project threads, getting ideas and learning about a new car. But I can't really find any here?

Hi guys 300ZX TT SWB Just thought I'd say hello. Picked up my Z a couple of weeks ago and after a few long-ish runs in it (and plenty of short ones to country pubs while the sun lasts!) I'm firmly of the belief that I have a goody! Mileage was 64.7k when I bought it and successive MOT certificate show that it had only done 1400m in the last 4 years! More incredibly I have evidence of a Nissan main dealer service at 62k - ten years ago!! The thing looks new in places - the original carpets look perfect; all of the glass seals work properly (tested with jet wash!) and it doesn't even seem to use huge amounts of fuel. Different kit: stainless z…

Hello all, My name is Sean and I've just joined the forum today. Let me explain a bit about myself. I'm a student at the University of York, but live in Bromley, South London. I currently drive a Mazda RX-8, which I'm very happy with, but unfortunately running costs are becoming slightly too much for me, especially as it looks like some very expensive maintenance might have to be done soon. For this reason I started looking for an alternative, but was convinced the car I wanted didn't exist. I wanted a Japanese turbo that was faster than the RX-8, seated four, looked good and was in some way convertible. Then I discovered the 300ZX! I've been doing some research of l…

Hi All, Just a quick intro. Have owned Z's for about 7 years. The first one I had to have put down as it had been used and VERY abused. I did throw some time and money at it but it needed putting out of its misery. The second one I bought as an Ex Nissan show car {pinch of salt}, although it did have 42K on the clock and was pristine inside and out. This is the one I plan as a keeper as she is a sound starting point. Don't plan to change her too much changing the front to a '99 spec bumper and but had the rear wing carbon fibre wrapped to match the wheels. {Thinking of taking it off now though as she is being resprayed within the next few weeks}. Have already done t…

What's up everyone, I just bought me a 300 twin turbo this last weekend. It's been used, abused, and unloved. She definitely is going to be a project to get back to her amazing self. How I got her No front bumper Paint is a disaster, there were stickers everywhere that were taken off that messed up the paint. It was a disaster. Sills are covered in rust AC, cruise control, and all that don't work. RH door jiggles at high speeds Everything in the center including the lighter was taken out A loose shift knob with the engine start button was put on, was never hooked up so the button is just there for no reason Sometimes while turning left the car dies…

Hey. All I have just bought my first 300tt 2+2 manual, targa in midnight purple (not sure of official name but thats what Skylines are called :-))from Japan. Not had an import since 2008 so eagerly waiting for it to come across. I am a Jap nut and had loads of standard and modified cars. When I receive my car I will endeavour to come to meets and bean active member, but I have a young family so it might be difficult to convince the misses that I want to clean my wheels rather then go out with the family :-) Anyway I will get some pics up but I will be lurking about until 2 month when I receive it!

Hi everyone, new member here from the Rhyl area north Wales. Currently looking to buy my first 300ZX after liking them for a long time, previously been a Supra guy but now switching teams :P Currently hoping to find myself a LWB auto TT in either black, dark grey or dark blue, sadly as that's quite specific I haven't been having much luck with eBay/PH/AT/etc but fingers crossed that should improve and I will become an active member of the forum :)
