Hi all, I am brand new to the forum, I live in Missoula, Montana, which is a long way from you but I am desperately looking for a discontinued part and Nissan USA is completely out. So I thought I would try to see if it was still in stock elsewhere. I am specifically looking for a Left-hand recirc valve for my 1993 300zx TT. Part number 14483-40P05. Mine is leaking to atmosphere. I found it on online-parts.co.uk- for £177.10! I want it, but not at that price (nearly US$300, plus shipping). When they were still available here they were $103. If anyone has the website for any other UK based Nissan parts vendors, I can take it from there. Or if you k…

Hi members, Just joined tonight. As per title I'm being made redundant, good news is... I have another job, better news is... I'm using a bit of the redundo, to purchase my first ever retro Jap... I considered the GTO/3000 and the Supra, and also the MR2 and Celica. For some reason I have been drawn to the 300 zed. I've read the buyers guides, and reviews etc... However I'm a little un-sure where to buy a decent one from. I'd rather not use EBay or Gumtree, and there isn't many available privately on forums... Any ideas? Thanks in Advance. Adam

Hi, I'm 18 and relatively new to jap cars. I've got (as unsurprising it may sound for an 18 year old) a Eunos roadster. Its a G-ltd though so a bit different. My build thread is here incase anyone is interested: http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=143669&hl= Anyway, i've spent a fair chunk of my already small wage on this and countless hours, but although I love it, I've always wanted a 300zx. They are absolutely brilliant looking cars and with them being much less common I am loving them even more. Now that i'm only insured on this and my bikes, Ive found myself more often needing some rear seats. Aha! I thought, a 300z…

Hi guys, I'm about to buy a 300zx I know nothing about these cars but this ones cheap... It has its problems but I'm hoping they are a relatively easy fix. - no mot or tax - hasn't been started in 6 months or so - oil is a little creamy... - plastic spoiler has seemingly rotted the tailgate away - blue smoke from exhausts upon initial start, gradually got clearer as the car got up to temp. - I'm told it's driven 11 miles since previous mot where lots of money was spent on tyres, welding, cooling etc... - the rest of the car is in ok / tatty condition and could do with a detail. As its been sat for a while, I understand it could do with a serv…

Hello everyone, Based in Cheshire with a 1990 TT - the 300 is something I always wanted as kid! It is mildly modified but not up to my standard. I am currently in the process of building a new wiring loom out of aircraft spec wiring (nickel plated copper; the lower resistance allows a step down in gauge over "normal" wire generally), have two old engines being made into one forged one and the bodywork is going to be changed (bringing back the original lights). Oh and it's going to get a diet. :P It's not going to be a race car but I want a super car that Nissan intended :P Anyway, looking forward to learn a lot.

Hello all. I've been a member on here for a while but didn't realise, I obviously signed up a few years ago when I first started looking at Zeds. Anyway, finally bought one even though I haven't collected it yet. It's the blue one that used to be owned by murt, I bought it off ghazoobe on driftworks who uses the same id on here. Here is the thread off here anyway- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=174311 I am going to be using it for drifting, been a fan of nissans for years, had a few s13's and s14's but always wanted a zed. Hopefully see some of you around, any members that drift these and can give me a few pointers if love to here from you. C…

Sorry I missed this bit when I registered. I see the activity is as lively as it was when I was registered back in 2002! Well I kept my first z for 3 years & I have been z less since March this year:yes: I've imported it & at this moment it's (hopefully) being sorted for MOT, then registering with DVLA for plates & then onto road! I have just sent my subscription off to the club on Friday 27/06/14. First z was red & a UK one! This one is pearl white & Jap! I know & seen members comments about best colour of Z'ds! In common with both they are TTs & autos. Cannot wait to get on the road!! Hi to all (sorry this is long winded)! …

Hi all I'm jason, I'm from South Wales. In 1998 I purchased a 1989 2+2 turbo, manual transmission, etc. I drove it for a year then got a company vehicle, it's been in the garage ever since. Unfortunately she is looking a little worst for wear so I've decided it's time to spend some money on her and get her back on the road, gonna spend the summer working on her, will put up some pictures when I next pull her out of the garage, I know to start the breaks have seized, and the clutch pedal stays on the floor ( hopefully just fluid gone off). She has been started every year so hopefully engine all good. Speak soon Jas.

Hi everyone. New member her from Northern Ireland! After years of want I'm finally in the position to buy a zed. However id love a few questions answered before I take the plunge. Unfortunately not being very mechanically minded I'm worried about possible problems/upkeep needed. Being in Northern Ireland are there any good places that are experienced in servicing and the mechanics of a 300zx if anything major goes wrong? Thanks guys.

Hey guys. Time to say hi on a new forum! If any of you are on DW, have had a skyline or a S-body then you may know me :) I was ready to drive back to uni yesterday and saw a gentleman leaving a house where there has been a 300ZX parked for the last 7 years! I decided to take the plunge and ask him if it was for sale.... Bought it by accident then and there lol. Thats one of my old S13s, so rotten it's just not safe anymore, even as a drift car. So we stripped it. Many questions I have about the Zed, I'll post them in the right section, and be ready for a good project thread! :D - Adam

Hello all! I am the proud owner of a brand new(ish) 1990 300ZX TT Manual :D I joined in order to find like minded people with a passion for these cars. Unfortunately the car can't be driven by me until January 2015 due to my current insurer not covering me on imports so will have to wait for my policy to run out and change company :( I have already picked up a few useful tip by looking through some of the posts and thought to myself, why not join and make the most of this useful forum? :) So here is the car, more pictures will follow :) Oh and one last thing, I still need help picking a name for her! ;) Thanks, Stefan

Daft newbie question this but. Most forums (SkylineOwners.com, SXOC, GTROC etc) I'm on have project threads. I'm a total geek, I do all my own work and I love spending nightshifts reading project threads, getting ideas and learning about a new car. But I can't really find any here?
