Helloooo. Thought I'd introduce myself. My names Tom Glover. Last weekend I purchased my first 300zx. Bought as a non runner. The previous owner had it sitting for the last few years. He had the engine fully rebuilt, new hybrid turbos etc, but never got round to finishing it off. So Im taking the work on myself. I'm sure I'll be needing some help and advise along the way so any input from you guys would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All, After wanting to buy a 300zx since the mid 90's think it's about time I tried a bit harder to find one. The only other zx I have owned was the amazing wedge of the Sunny coupé zx, which I ended up selling to get a pickup. Last jap car I had was a Honda fn2 championship white edition which I sold to buy a van for work. Hey there seems to be a pattern forming here, anyway I have a van and family wagon GD1Jazz that is for the kids and lady of the house and I really need a toy something to cherish and enjoy. Prices of the 300zx seem to be on the rise but I'm sure a well looked after z32LWB 2+2 TT manual will be worth it. Not had chance yet to v…

Hi I'm Adam from Poland . I buy my 300zx in this year. It is 300zx Z32 twinturgo with automatic gearbox, longer version 2+2, in papers it's year 93 but in reality it's produced betwen 90 and 91. For most of it's live 300zx ride in Switzerland. It have body in nice shape, interior in mid form, and have many problems with engine. Now I'm thinking about engine rebuild, and searching for advices, because I hear that engines in 300zx are complicated to repair so I wanna find some advices before rebuild. In later plans I'm thinking about switching automatic gearbox to manual. In very faaaar future i'd like to lift my zx to 99 japan version ( front japan bumper and tail ligh…

Thought I should post this as a Newbie as she has recently come back from Powerzed and is like a new car after the following work New cambelt, timing pullys, water pump and coolant new injectors where required MT90 gearbox oil New heater matrix Speedo fixed - earth fault only Variable power steering now working correctly due to speedo fix PCV Valves replaced And the really good news - No more smoking on cold start up (the problem was due to a combination of un burned fuel due to missing and PCV valves blocked) and she feels like she has just gained a heap of BHP. Powerzed did a fantastic job at a very reasonable cost and even washed her for me prio…

Evening all. Just joined up tonight as I purchased a beautiful zed about 2 weeks ago and want to share the fun! I'm also looking for some advice. I'm looking to do a manual conversion and have a reputable garage to carry out the work (Darren are D2 in Strood) but I need to source the complete kit, any ideas where I might find it? Many thanks in advance. Graeme.

Well, I wasn't actually in the market for another toy, but I was drawn to this Z because of the colour. It wasn't too far away, seemed reasonably priced and it turned out to be not too shabby - so now it's mine! I have no time or budget for it at the moment, and my current car is perfect for the winter (Subaru Legacy B4) so the new Z has been tucked up in a friends garage for the winter. No doubt I'll be back on here again in due course - naturally there are a few little jobs to be done, so I'll see y'all soon

Hi, I'm new on here and I'm on the hunt for a 300zx tt. I would prefer a manual and don't mind Swb or lwb. If you know of any for sale or your thinking of selling yours drop me a pm! I met a few of the club owners at the nec classic car show on Thursday, I must say the three cars on show were all epic and you guys should be proud. Thanks for showing me your cars and the advice when looking for one.....Any of you thinking of selling up yet? Thanks, Dave

Hi guys, my names Tom and I've started to look at the 300's. Previously had a Stagea Autech 260rs but it was a short lived love affair due to some diesel. So I'm currently down to my 172 Cup and an 86 Prelude. Always had a soft spot for a 300 so I decided to sign up and start reading. Everyone seems friendly enough and a lot of my questions have already been answered. Haven't quite decided if importing would be the best route to take at the moment, plus the import companies I've spoken to have given me rough quotes which aren't anywhere near each other. One thing that is on my mind is that I'm not a short guy at 6' 5" and having never sat in one, will …

Hi All Just wanted to say hi to everyone as a new Z owner. I bought a 95 auto TT. Had her for about 2 months now and really loving it. I've already taken her to my local tuners FC tuning in Hodderston, whom i highly recomend by the way, and gave her a pre dyno check and a good looking over. After basic upgrades, air filter/intercooler/exhaust/fuel regulator/ Nis-tune remap and boost controller i am running a healthy 380bhp according to the dyno, which is plenty for me at the moment, plus i know auto boxes do have their limit. I absolutely love the interior as the previous owner had her re-upholstered to a great standard, I am a big fan of the early jap TT cars and al…

Hi All, Newbie here from Bedfordshire. Going to pick up my first 300 ZX TT tomorrow! It's the 98 Purple one my new best friend Gazwoz imported in recently. I'm keeping it stock, as is, no real ideas of mods, just want to keep it as original as possible and enjoy it. I know everyone would drop a manual box in but I have had recent leg Op, so an autos perfect for me :-) I'm lucky enough to have had a 260z and a 280zx in my youth and wanted to go to the next model, the car I always wanted but could never have, a Z32. I drive a freelander as a day car, I'm so looking forward to having a motor with some poke and a truly great heritage, hence the Zed. I'm looking …

Hi All, Just trying to get some info on 300ZX Z 32. Currently own a Celica GT-Four, not planning to get rid, but merely add to the collection when I can muster up some spare cash. I am mainly interested in the twin turbo with an auto box. I'm aiming to purchase a cheap one by the end of next year and restore it to a a serviceable condition, so it can survive a thrashing on a track and a spot of drifting. I already have a solid relationship with my local Jap specialist garage. All I really need are tips, pointers and maybe some up to date buyers guides. My main questions: What are the major issues to look out for? How cheap can I go before I'll be…

Hi the club, I am 16 and i recently purchased a 300zx and it will be my restoration project for a couple of years. The car is 1990 automatic Twin Turbo targa top. Good things: - It only has 46,000 miles on the clock (74,000 km) - I think it has barely 1000 miles on the automatic gearbox only recently replaced. - It has MOT and drives well, gear changes are really smooth. - coilovers with lowered suspension and a kakimoto titanium exhaust - (apparently) really rare JDM from and back bumpers but missing the side skirts in the set (if someone could identify the bumpers that would be great so i could find the skirts for it - aftermarket ECU (not sure wh…
