Hi Everyone Just wanted to reintroduce myself. My names Chris, I had my first 300zx when I was 21 (a nice grey import TT auto), my second some 12 years later (blue uk TT manual) and now another (flip uk TT manual). I brought the car as stock for my new car trading business (more details to follow within the next 12 months) with the intention to return it back to standard HOWEVER I've fallen in love with her and now plan to run it as my personal example car (that's how I'm justifying keeping it to the wife) ? Looking forward to catching up, learning more about the 300 and hopefully getting to meet some of you. (Any local owners want to meet up please messag…

Hey everyone thought I'd pop in a little message to say hi and hope that everyone is ok and doing well. I say newish in the title as I had an account on here back in 07ish with an old email that I no longer have access too, at that time I had a 92 J plate fairlady 2+2 targa, was a NA auto so like anyone would do I hopped online to get advice on the car and found you guys! I will be in the market for another 300zx in the future though will be looking for a later model twin turbo manual (wondering if Gaz can pm me with rough import prices? Just to get my bearings on how much I'm looking at nowadays). Anyway really looking forward to chatting with you all and …

Hello, I have owned a 1989 300zx for about 3 years but have had it locked in a garage for most of that, the time has come to renovate and it needs welding underneath, I previously bought some inner sills on line(about 2 years ago) but the welder I gave them to lost them!.....I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find any, all previous suppliers no longer sell them, has anyone any ideas? Thanks, Neil

Hello ladies & gentlemen. I've loved the Z32's ever since i first played Gran Turismo - back in the day. I've always wanted one but the time has never been right.... until now! I've just purchased a twin turbo, auto Z. 49k miles on the clock so she's very much still a baby. I got her for a good price but she has a small issue, the engine cuts out when it reached running temperature; i'm sure it's just a sensor. (diagnosing it Sunday) But anyway, here she is. I love her, plan to convert to manual in a few months. Also on the look out for leather interior!

Hai everyone, Got an itch for a new to me car, and the 300zx looks like the one I want to go for. I'm just checking out the more obscure part costs, but so far the general consumables seem quite reasonable. I try and do all the work I can myself. Which leads me to my first question :) How hard are these cars to work on? I'm no mechanic, but I like to fettle, and have done things like upper engine work/general transmission maintenance/electrics etc before. But, I've never owned a turbo car, so am unsure how that would amount to additional maintenance. I've read a few threads on other sites with people saying maintenance is hard and expensive. What are …

Hi guys thought I would join here as I have just aquired a 1990 LWB 2+2 TT z32 she's been sat for 12 years in a garden and I have managed to save her but I'm hoping it's not too late for her. Engine and gearbox wise the car is sound it's just the body work! Let's say there is a little bit of rot

Thought I'd better introduce myself to yourselfs as I've been lurking for a couple of weeks whilst deciding how I'm going to deal with my new Zed, which I now done. Bought her at the beginning of the month and.... had to deal with a kerploded boiler, kitchen refit and a leaky bog, so deposited the car in a mates barn. Now I've got the insurance and tax and shizz sorted, she's coming home tomorrow. :w00t: As far as I can tell, there are at least three previous owners of VIW on this very forum, all of whom I wouldn't mind chatting with about the car with as it's all new to me, coming from working on other people's S bodies to having my own Z32. On another n…

Hi All, I joined last month after seeing a 300z again, the first since I test drove a nearly new red TT back in the late 90s! Amazing looking cars even now, you are all very lucky if you have one! Didn't realise there was such a following or a select few still on the road. Having had a look about at various sites of those for sale, I see their price varies considerably, but hats off to the midnight purple stunner recently listed on here. Various Jap cars have come and gone from my driveway and garage, but a TT would see me nicely into my 50s and beyond I'm hoping. I'm going to have a driving mission on my hands to get about and see some, so far the nearest one t…

Hi all. Thanks for having me, I'm new here. I've been thinking about getting a Nissan ZX for a long time now. And have seen a few of them around in the last few months. Maybe it's a sign. So thought I'd join up here and do some digging. Feed the need! :)

Just like to say hello to everyone from a new forum member. I have recently rejoined having lost all the login details that I used a few years ago. I have a UK manual 300zx TT and have owned it since Xmas 2001. Car was supplied from new to a banker in London as a company car on a 3 year lease (nice job to get a brand new 300ZXTT as a company car hey!!!) and was subsequently purchased by him from the lease company at the end of the 3 years. Since owning the car I had the engine and Turbos stripped and rebuilt with all new parts by a superb mechanic friend of mine, as a precaution with the intention of keeping the car for ever.( I was amazed that when we stri…

Good evening, I've just joined as am thinking of getting a 300zx. It's a car I've wanted since I was young. Well I figured the best place to start would be an owners forum. Hopefully any advice I might need I will get here. So on that note a big thanks in advance.

Hello chaps and chapesses. Some of you maye have seen me sniffing around various facebook groups before now but thought I'd join to make it official. On the 3rd of December I picked up a fresh import TTMT Targa LWB from the lovely people at Torque GT down in Devon and after a month and a half with it I'm still absolutely chuffed to bits with it. Literally cannot stop looking at it. Because I'm a bit weird I name all my cars and this one is called Zelda. Looking forward to learning more about these cars and being involved in meets and shows etc.
