Newbies - let yourselves be known

Hi everybody Greetings from Slovakia I'm kind of a Nissan fan, this is my list of cars First I had a 2006 Nissan 350Z up to 2014 After I got this 2012 Nissan 370Z roadster And finally a 1990 Nissan 300ZX TT The previous owner had it for 14 years, and it was not used at all. Slowly I started to put it all together, I took out the negine and changed everything what had to be changed. During this winter it will get new paint, new discs, and more. I hope that you can help me if I have some questions, or if I would need some parts. For me it's better to order it from UK than USA, as I don t have to pay tax.

Hi All, Joining the 300zx owners club only because I had it as a poster on my wall in my teens :D I'm a tinker and love to fix things in cars myself. I've had projects in the past where I've bought cars that were about to be sold for parts or scrapped and I've fixed them up (E30 BMWs and VWs mainly). I've currently got a BMW 645Ci convertible as my weekend car that I do most of the work on myself (engine work, suspension/brakes, electrical etc). It's pretty easy to work on BMWs as there are so many online resources available. After some years of having Yowser always raving about Z's, I decided to get one and see what he was on about. Some of the regulars here might recognise it... I plan to start a progress thread soon, but i thought it was probably time to say hi seeing as I've had it nearly three weeks.

Hello all!!! I am new to the Z world, and have only had my z32 for about a year now. I plan on pulling the motor soon and desperately looking for a good body restoration shop. If anyone knows a good place, please let me know.

Hows it going everyone New to the forum today, though read a few threads in the last few years through interest but mostly lust haha Will be in the market for my first zed tt soon enough, realistically not before christmas though i dont think. Just here to learn really, gain more knowledge, buy a zed that can be enjoyed short term and rebuilt to something special long term when i have the funds. Cheers Ant

HI Everyone Several years ago I owned a Mitsubishi GTO TT import model, had fun, then issues and had to part company. Recently started looking for another as change of circumstances meant I could get a weekend toy as I have a company car and a Lexus IS200 sport for daily drives. Whilst looking I was keeping an eye out for a 300zx as well, always loved the shape. Anyway a 300zx came up close to me and cut a long story she's now mine, 91 Import TT 2+2. Very tidy outside, interior needs some love but with it only being a weekend car that's not going to be a problem. Just joined the club today and not quite sure what I am doing! Is there anybody out there? I have a 300zx twin turbo 91 model and I'm looking for a replacement passenger side wing mirror. Some idiot decided to kick at it one night. The casing on the outside seems fine but the mechanism on the inside is broke. Can anyone suggest where I can get a replacement mirror from or has one to sell ?? Cheers Dave

Hi Iam new to 300zx twin turbo ownership. The car i purchased from a friend who drag raced it, the power is around 500HP with 1.25Bar boost... My question is .... What is a safe limit of boost & obtainable HP on a standard engine..? Many thanks Roger

Hello, i'm Chris. I have bought a Z 1993 import TT Targa. It has loads of mods and a dyno printout at 353 BHP. It has a big sound system that i am going to remove. The interior has been cut and sliced and all that crud, so i will be sourcing new parts soon... Is there a for sale section on this forum? It has traction control, i'm presuming it uses the ABS for this? It also has some sort of Turbo Actuator control box, i could do with reading up on that.

Hi chaps, Someone on reddit was asking about the Z as a possibility for his new car. Is there anyone in the Leicestershire area that could offer to come check out their Z and give some some advice. His budget is under 3k and looking at the market at the moment (wow), there are no good condition TTs for that price. He preferably wants an na for insurance and also it would be more reliable for a daily driver. If he's getting an na I suggested to get a manual to make it more fun, but if it's his dd then it might make sense to get an auto? But his choice. There really isn't much choice at the moment and I can only see 2 good condition for sale under £3k…

Hi All, I had a 300zx swb tt manual back in 2004 and was on the forum back then too, stupidly sold it and vowed as soon as I was in a position to get one again I would. It's only taken 12 years, but thanks to a nice forum member and his contact, a deal has been struck and I'm now the proud owner of the very same spec but in grey (and generally all round better condition quite frankly!). Hi all Well after 3 weeks of living with my new 300zx TT Manual...I have decided to sell it :-( I was originally after an auto but after a last minute wobble decided to go for a manual. This was due to a number of reasons 1) most owners convert auto to manual for drivability, reliability and performance 2) it was a club members car "rustysills" aka Graham so had more provenance than joe blogs 3) all modifications done by 300zx specialist Automodz 4) tuning done by Turbonoz and lastly 5) everything was very very recently done But...after 10 years of driving automatics (BMW, Jag, Lexus) its hard to change my driving habits to drive manual.
