Newbies - let yourselves be known

ok so my car is overfueling guzzling fuel like it's going out of fashion. No check engine light but ecu reads code 12 air flow meter circuit??. Things I've done....changed spark plugs and fuel filter. Problem started after I replaced the very old tatty crumpled cone air filter. When I say bad...it was that blocked that the engine had almost crushed it inwards trying to draw air in. I'm guessing that the engine over fueled to compensate for lack of air?? I don't know as I'm new to this. I did remove and clean the MAS with proper cleaner for the job and re installed. At first car wouldn't start and when it did it was rough but then I realised I hadn't connected the sensor, …

Hi all, my names Ben, from Horsham West sussex. I don't actually have a 300ZX (but do very much like them) I drive one of it's cousins a 1993 skyline R33 GTST. It is an automatic and i am curretnly looking for an upgrade for the auto box which is why i am here. I am looking for information on an (and to hopefully buy) 4-speed RE4R03A Z32 auto box. Just thought i'd throw in a newbie intro... I have my z32 in the build stages getting close to driving it, right now im dealing with a full rewire, never a dull day and all that. Anyways everything needs pics.

Not an owner, though I do drive the other halfs. But the only way I am going to be able to get a decent conversation out of my other half is to be in here as thats where she always seems to be these days. Cats are thinner, I am thinner and the electric bill is through the roof with her always powering up her ipad. Not a Z owner, actually have an Evo 5 myself, will post in the wanted section, but need some help sourcing a Z32 MAF for a 400 BHP Pulser that I've been asked to remap. Will try to post up some pics of this little weapon once I get some time. Currently running a forged SR20DET Red Top, HKS turbo, larger injectors, custom ceramic coated intake pipework from the turbo to the inlet, etc. Has a HKS F-Con V-Pro Silver ECU which the previous owner decided to rip out the wiring for the IAT sensor & MAP sensors saying they "were not needed"....and this previo…

Hi everyone, i just picked up a 1987 Z31 last night. Non-turbo manual with mint bodywork except one wing dent. Just ned to get it through the MOT so a bit of TLC needed. Will be on here pleading for advice and contacts as i search for parts and expertise! Will post pics soon, firstly need to get a dent knocked out of the wing (or find a new wing). Hey all,names Ciaran,I've a lwb tt manual,its being restored at the mo,it's original Aztec red paint had faded to nearly a pink colour jue to age, weather etc..it's in the paint shop now,putting original colour back on it,have few questions for you guys,Iam getting the roof bars painted black,what shade of black should I go for,gloss?also I got rear Perspex strip from zcenter cause I like that look,have any of u guys seen 'wingswest flush mount' spoiler (google it)? It would mean I could keep Perspex strip and have close to original look oem spoiler.any pictures or advice would be great cause I can't find much bout that spoiler on net,tanks in advance

Hi all I've just bought another Zed after messing about with a few other cars. It's a '92 LWB TT UK Version with the wide arch conversion, some of you will have no doubt spotted it on eBay. No car this age is without its flaws, but all in all its a worthwhile purchase! I plan on becoming a member again shortly, so far just a few bits are needed: Washer bottle for the front and a window strip for the drivers door.
