welcome, best thing to do, is have a look around the forum, plenty of advice and knowledge going about, don't be put off by all the posts about this not working and that not working. most people tent to post when something is wrong, not when its working right lol

But the best thing is. if it does go wrong, always someone here to point you in the right direction. there is a buyers guide around here somewhere (think its in the FAQ area) i would venture in there my self, cept I'm allergic to it.

am 57 with a clean license so hope insurance not too dear

Classic insurance is possible on these cars with companies like Lynbrook

The UK vs Import argument is to do with the rust issue as you do not find many rust free UK zeds now and alot of the time the rust is in places you cannot see hence people going for imports.

Myh black shorty for sale is a import TT

I'm 25 in a rather poor postcode and get results between 300-500 for Insurance on UK models. So I don't see it being too bad for you. ^_^

Though I am baffled as to why a 1993 Z is 200 cheaper than a 1990 Z... haha. Ohwell.
